I just want to clear something up here. I think I accidentally called out @Amaris as transgender because I looked at her profile because she had a different avatar or something and I was like, “who is that?” and it said female underneath. Then I was like ‘what?” It then went from there. I don’t remember how everything followed, but she had already changed her profile, but it’s my fault it got out before she was ready to tell anyone.
Wait, when and why did TNZ become private? I honestly haven't posted at TrekBBS in at least 10-15 years so I'm clearly out of the loop.

I understand that, but that wasn't always true. Back when I joined TrekBBS and was active there, TNZ was readily accessible to everyone without extra effort. The only hidden non-mod forums were the various lounges related to your rank. I'm curious when that switch happened for TNZ and why it was done.
It was mainly done to hide what was considered TBBS' dirty laundry at the time, it used to be a lot more nasty than it is now and there were concerns that it would ward off any potential new members IIRC
All that tells me is you don't understand what 'credible source' means. Here's a hint. I doubt you'll find any major news outlet that ran with the 6 years accusation. Because they are all in the tank for Biden? Nah. Because they require two sources. And no one else verified the claim. Note that the one NPR did was a chat transcript of an interview - it wasn't a news story. Everyone ran with the lawsuit which stated that it went back to 2018. Even Fox and Breitbart.

I think it was right after the move to Xenforo. Once the option to opt-in was made available by software rather than mod approval, it was easier to manage that way.

They did around the software change, sometime after, once it became clear they could have the software manage opt-ins. That said, it's not so much that @Ten Lubak posted the transgender thing, as most of you here know. It's that I could have been posting something no one knew about here, and he had no problem dragging it from a private forum, which it is as a hidden, opt-in only forum, to throw out in a public forum as some kind of "gotcha." It was a nasty, bullshit move that goes beyond just the usual wordplay people do here.
So why aren't these Obama-era hysterectomies part of the lawsuit, and why aren't right-wing sources covering them extensively to make Trump look better?
He knows. He tries to deflect it away by trying to James Gunn other people, but he knows damned well what he is, what he does, and that we all know it.
