Rereading it there was not the big cries. Just lots of dancing around the edges and game playing. I guess even far leftforge realized how stupid their position was so they decided to play word games. Their meaning was still clear to anyone who is honest.

On the first page I and two trans women stated quite clearly that the issue was about equipment, licensing, insurance and training issues, not prejudice. Pretty sure a couple of others did too.

There wasn't even an implied claim of transphobia.

    From the first page:

I see several left wing posters, all quite reasonably talking about licensing issues and health and safety concerns, all completely on board with the salons' right to decline to offer a service they are not equipped for.

I see one right winger talking about "outrage and PC horse shit" and "racist sexist nazis", despite that no one is actually making the comments he seems to be responding to.

Maybe you should market that. Still, to think of the pain of the dugout being waxed is far more than I would want to do for beauty. I will trim and shave that area and make it clean and nice, but if you want it hairless you are going to have to find a masochist.

There was no sub text. I actually even agree to a certain point. Depending on the level of surgical alteration down there you might have issues with infection for trans people either way. You would really want to find someone familiar with trans people and probably a medical professional over some business just because of surgical differences. A shop dealing with common people is probably not the best place to go when you are different, and in the cosmotology field if you are not comfortable doing the procedure due to safety issues you should be safe and refer the person to someone who has more experience. Maybe you keep a specialist name on file for that purpose, but even as a trans person licensed to do waxing I would refer someone who was surgically altered to their doctor.

What subtext is there in that you disingenuous little cunt?

Not sure exactly when it happened, but at some point a typical opinion expressed on WF became more reasonable than a typical opinion expressed in the world at large. Of all the crazy developments in the past few years this might be the most unforeseen.

Yep. It was a Wordforge-worthy exchange.

But why Twitter didn't ban the both of them is beyond me.

(Apparently the trans person has since been banned, but sometime later and for other reasons.)

I think the point is (if you've read up on the entire incident) is that there are serious questions as to whether Mr. Yaniv actually is trans or just a mentally ill pervert or, worse, a predator.

So, reading his text messages it turns out he wears feminine pads to soak up ball sweat, runs out of them and has fantasy of needing to teach a preteen girl how to use them. And at the time he was writing the texts he was still identifying as male. So he's a sick fuck that's trying to use the system to get off from underage kids. Fuck him.

Looks like we can safely identify Jessica Yaniv's next human rights complaint:

    https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/man-who-identifies-as-female-asks-city-to-approve-lgbt-pool-party-for-topless-12-year-olds-no-parents]Link[/url]

It just boggles my mind that the Human Rights board even took the ball waxing case on, this person clearly has serious issues :jayzus:

Think it's becoming pretty clear this person is using trans culture to advance their own twisted agenda

There is a difference between having a conversation about the differences of living a trans life and the life of a cisgendered person of the same gender, and then there is misgendering someone as an insult. It would be the same difference of talking about the experience of black people and calling someone a fat ugly nigger. Sure, nigger is a term referring to black people, but the use of the term is a racial insult and goes beyond discussing issues of people who are black. It is a slur, and it is not part of any discussion over issues as the professional victim tried to claim. Twitter and other platforms have decided when you use slurs of any type it is not a part of discussion, and it is purely for the purpose of insulting someone.

I might have defended that person if she was trying to say the experience of a trans person is not the same as a woman, and bring up a real discussion point of how a trans woman might not get the full experience that drives a cisgendered feminist. That is not where she went, and her pretending she didn't do that when she quotes her slur is just whining by a nasty little shit.

The fact that parents are not invited is wrong overall, and there should be no place in a non medical professional environment that parents should not be allowed. I could see a doctor of medicine or psychology having some privacy, but not at a party like that.

Saying that, it would be painful to require a trans boy to wear a bikini top. That is a purely feminine article of clothing that a boy would not wear. I don't know exactly what the right thing would be to do to alleviate gender dysphoria at that age for a trans male especially if they had begun to develop breasts. Where this idea may seem extreme and sexualized for the cisgendered community and transphobic, the reality is this is what we let our boys do, and wearing male swim trunks without a bikini top would be a certain desire for most trans boys. Many trans boys end up wearing shorts and a T-shirt to swim, but if you are developing and you don't wear a female covering you are going to show off your nipples.

I personally don't have breasts to speak of, and bikini bottoms normally leave the junk pretty obvious, but I wear one pieces and bikini tops to swim. I could go topless and wear trunks but it is a massive reminder that I am dressed as a guy. I really do not swim much even though I love it because it is a huge psychological pain to not be able to dress as a woman in most public swimming places. Your trans boys do not want their nipples sexualized as a womans would be and this is a very real desire that does not come from being a slut, but rather because they are going along with a boy's image.

That being said at that age their parents should be present, and there is only going to be trouble if the parents are not watching out for their children. I can see a non-sexualized reason for a trans advocate to want to have a safe space for the kids to swim dressed as they please.

Now that I have read most of the texts I cannot say they are overly problematic. This is life people. Yes, it seems a little weird to have a trans woman who will not have a period talking about tampons and pads, but every woman has them. It is a part of their everyday life. They need them constantly. If you do not have a need for them or use them, or have grown up with that, you need advice on what would normally be what women talk about when in the bathroom at times. Women do talk about these things. I have asked questions about some of this stuff. What if I was passing and a young girl asked me a question about using them because she is part of a prude religious family that does not properly educate her? The only way I would know about some general questions is to ask other women. Is this something that they come across, and if it is what would be the proper thing to do. I don't know if women would generally refer the young lady back to her mother, or take it upon themselves to give her a general understanding of what to do as a fellow woman.

As a trans person you get involved in some of these conversations because as the gender you are raised in you don't get lessons. Who is a trans man going to go to to learn male bathroom rules like don't look at the guy next to you if your peeing in a trough? It is not time for eye contact. Men don't worry about pads or tampons, but in the ladies room there are all sorts of discussions going on and advice given. I find the ladies room a god damned annoyance most of the time because of all the shit going on in there.

I have a lot of cisgendered women be really understanding that my questions are not of a creepy nature, but rather because I am not afraid of things that make guys squeamish, and I am interested in hearing about it and understanding as much of the experience as possible.

The things everyone is claiming are creepy and wrong have some real explanations, and these are real questions that come up especially when you are older and do not have years of experience in puberty and development of the gender you are to learn these things.

The things that I have seen with this person everyone is bitching about is they are clearly prejudice against certain races and types of people. Some of it may be legitimate worries about being near certain people who do not have as much cultural exposure to trans people and may react poorly, but that seems to have translated into a bigotry. I would have to see more conclusive evidence that this person is interested in children sexually aside from the pool party thing and asking what do you do if a young girl asks you for advice about using pads and tampons. It really seems to me that these people who are certainly trying to harass this trans woman are coming from their own prejudiced place and using offensive terms and trying to harass her. I see the trimmed up discussion as a clear case of a trans woman asking some intimate advice on how to participate in female bathroom activities. You want to seem like you deal with a period every month as a fact of life like every cis woman does. I have been there when cis women start talking around me about their issues openly and people need to grow the fuck up and realize this is not a sexual thing, this is how their bodies work.

I do have a question for you. If you want to go through the texts which are shown at one of the links am I totally off base in seeing a lot of that as normal questions asked because of lack pof experience, and that the desire to have what is called a topless pool party is more a way to let trans boys go topless as a boy rather than some attempt to look at young girls boobs?

This is actually a very interesting ethics question for the cosmotology industry which would cover certain levels of hair removal procedures. Fore the sake of Brazilians and non chemical hair removal and non chemical skin treatments of that area this should be something a professional cosmotologist, spa person, or hair removal person should be aware of. Trans women would be ones who would come to you for those procedures, and you should expect them. There is money in it, and trans women would have more dense and thick hair to deal with than cisgendered women.

I would think that if you are offering those services that you should expect to work on the trans female community as they would definitely be clients looking for your services as a learned professional. That being said for basic hair removal services covered by your cosmetology license there is almost no mention of trans people or waking sensitive areas. It is more like the more it might bleed the less you should be dealing with it and referring it to someone with more training. Brazilians are right on that line of going from a cosmotologist to going to someone with more specialized medical training. The tissues down there for a trans person or a woman are more easily aggravated and possibly infected.

However, if you are in the business of hair removal or treating skin in the genital area then you should be familiar with trans people as part of your licensing and certifications in that field. Especially today with the way things are going. You should be familiar with safety for trans people because you might get one post op.

The proper way would be to update education, certification, and licensing rather than going around making lawsuits like this, but sometimes the proper way does not get traction because people who are not in need of these services in this way don't often see outside of their bubble.

Except the person in question isn't cisgender, regardless of his protestations to the contrary. It's blatantly obvious that he's one step away from making it onto the sex offender list. I think the insult was clearly calculated and very much called for.

What he's doing a total disservice to the actual LGBTQ movement.
