I do have to agree with her and the republicans on one point. If it was not for the reality of woke culture saying you can't murder black people, control women's bodies, discriminate against gays, and not abide by the election of someone other than their guy, they would not have to fight for those things. If we just let them do all of those things without any opposition, and stop calling them out for them, then I am sure MJT, Trump, and the republicans would be much happier and America would be great again for them.
totally cool that when you need to bait Republicans into ignoring your insane views the thing that works is bashing trans folks out of nowhere.
I missed this post originally. It's attitudes like yours that enable this bullshit and will eventually lead to a much more bloody outcome. At a bare minimum, Greene is guilty of inciting sedition and uttering threats. The evidence needs to be gathered, she needs to be charged and face those accusations in court. The apparent kid-glove handling of treasonous politicians by federal law enforcement needs to stop, or the U.S. will indeed face a second civil war.
There's just some people who are incapable of A) knowing their job B) having an understanding of a job C) doing their job And, as such, wish to have their job changed to fit their needs. Those people need to be fired. Or ridiculed if they can't be fired. Trying to escalate the name calling will only empower people like her - based on the statement she made. She appears incapable of doing anything else.
All correct, and with the distinct advantage of not being misogynistic, but I still think something a bit stronger would be appropriate.
Depends where you're from. I've spent a lot of time in the UK and whatever the origin of the word, it's now broadly used there as an insult (generally directed at men) or a term of endearment. I'm using it as an insult, knowing full well it freak out North Americans.
Still, there's no way you can pretend that using references to women's genitals as insults is not misogynistic, in the same way that saying someone is "gay" as an insult is obviously rooted in at least latent homophobia. If women are insulted by a term, even when it is not directed at them, there is no real justification for using it.
Fair enough, but is calling you a dick being misanthropic? Is calling you a cunt misogynistic? How about calling a woman a dick? UK use of swears is gender/genderfluid neutral. Hell, I've even called a piece a LEGO a cockgobbling cunt, and it's just interlocking plastic.
I do try to avoid using the term "dick" specifically for that reason. But, there is the additional implication of being a dick is just someone trying to push their way into someplace they may not be wanted.
If she participated in the riots and enabled them then I am with you. However, I think the law needs to actually see some sort of action to participate in the riots. If I tell a whole bunch of stupid fuckers they should go riot, and they go and riot, why do I have any responsibility to that? For a better example if I tell you to post some nude racist pics in the blue room and you do it, why should I get banned because you can't control yourself? I am not saying she did not do something that was participating in these riots, as it seems she was a part of organizing and executing them, but simply saying go riot is not a command that holds any weight. Unless you want to admit MTG has some sort of master troll powers to control someone to do something they would not have done without her telling them to.
and by the dust on the floor probably has about fifty or sixty times already. OF has probably taking down the poster of whatever teen queen makes sparks in his scrotum for the honky duet of MTG and Bobert.
Incitement to violence IS a legal offence. If you're arguing it shouldn't be, fine. If not, demonstrate how she or Trump didn't breach it.
I am so freaked out by your edgelord swearing. you are uber cool. How can I be more like the totally tubular WAB. You are canadian so I guess I have to help you. It is OK to be impolite and swear about some people online. It happens and you don't need tot be a twat and explain yourself all to fuck and back.
Apples and socket wrenches. You're not a public official whose constituents trust you. "Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?"
Now you are taking WAB's whining to a whole different argument. I am all for charging her under the law. But let us not restrict our speech further if she had not crossed that line.
Nonetheless, I sense a whiff of desperation in these sort of posts, since they usually come from folk like Tererun who style themselves as trolls - i.e. inciting others. The idea that the act of incitement might itself carry consequences has led to a degree of soaked underwear, I feel, and not in the fun sense.
OK, I am giving up the argument you are forcing me into because it is not my point. I am good with roasting her. I just don't want to set precedent too far into the realm of speech because we are trying to fry this bitch. I just do not want to be guiulty of a crime if I tell you to go shoot the president and you go and shoot the president because I told you to. Before the dumb ass argument, I am not required to follow the instructions of a member of congress on twitter.
