That lunch looks a whole lot like my supper from the past couple of nights. Had a bunch of leftover sausage that I had to get rid of.
Nah. Some big bastards from the grocery store meat department. I eat all of my grilled stuff on Oroweat Oat Nut. They actually make some funky, thin buns, but I haven't gotten around to buying more.
We've got an honest-to-goodness meat store in town so I know where you're coming from there. edit - And, no, the motto isn't "Roadkill yesterday, on your plate today!"
It is indeed. Not that the "spinach" tortilla option really has a distinctive flavor. I just like that it's green.
Those are two gas-grilled hamburger patties under melted slices of colby jack cheese, each served on one slice of Oat Nut.
That reminds me, I whipped up a burger I saw on Food Network some months ago, it had an egg, and peanut butter. Not bad, actually. Not the greatest thing in the world, either, it was okay, wouldn't put it on my favorites list. I recommend everyone try it at least once.
I've heard of fried eggs on burgers but haven't tried one. I like fried egg sandwiches. I like hamburgers. Sounds tasty to me.
I spend too much money on food. It'd be better if I was a bit more creative. I hesitate to say 'like this', but you get my meaning.
Don't knock it 'till you try it. I feel pretty good on my diet of fresh fruit, burnt meat, and whole grain bread. Today it was steak on the toasted bread. Thin-cut eye of round, just the right size for bread and thin enough to grill right out of the freezer. Nothing fancy, but I dig it.
Fried egg sammiches!! Haven't had one in a while but I've been getting a little finicky in my old age. Not too sure I would've ever liked the peanut butter thing on them with a hamburger, though.
Man, I used to make myself fried egg sammiches for dinner back in my bachelor days. Good times, good times.
Hand-made corn tortillas with beans + melted mozarella on the inside, and fresh home-made salsa on top. Then there's refried beans, mexican sour cream (it's saltier and thicker than American sour cream), and slightly green plantains fried in vegetable oil. Food of the gods, I tell you! Edit: @ Chup: yes, the plantains are uber greasy. They soak up oodles of veggie oil. I think it's something like 1/2 a cup of oil soaked in for every plantain, but don't quote me on it.
