Marine Videotaped throwing puppy Kicked out of Corps

I'm not a mushyheaded animal-lover but I must agree with this. It's pretty well established that stuff like this is a sign of something deeper.....something you don't want to see in a man you arm for war unless you are fighting a "gloves off" war which we aren't allowed to do anymore.

I wouldn't have dishonorably discharged him, but I would let a hundred puppies piss on him every day until he's out of the military. I'd show him the video every day, and I'd print out a screencap of it and place it on the wall where everyone can see it. I'd make sure his fellow marines got a good look at it every day. Then I'd let nature take it's course for what good human beings do to those who kill the innocent, whether they be domesticated animals or people.

For good measure, I might strap him to the side of a high building, and leave him there for a couple of hours, dangling over the edge of a window. Feel a bit what it's like to see your death right beneath you, and know that it's in my hands as a sentient human being whether I save you, or let you fall.

Anyway, how does the UCMJ (Uniform Code Of Military Justice) work?
It's "hit or miss" in The Army, but I can't speak for The Marines.
In The Army ten different people could commit the exact same offense (with exact circumstances) and ten different punishments would be handed out.

I for one agree with kicking him out, but it would be "honorable/medical

As bad and inhumane as his crime is I don't believe it deserves any prison time because the trouble he's going to face trying to find a job with a dishonorable discharge and the public shame he must be going through are punishment enough.
