So, a colleague of mine (mid 30s, divorced) went out on a date at the weekend. They'd met online, been chatting for a few weeks... So how did it go? 'What is it about men and height? He told me online that he was 5'8. I'm 5'6 and I was four inches taller than him!' *Note: she says the shoes she was wearing had heels barely an inch high. I wouldn't mind betting a lot of women can tell similar stories. I don't blame men: there's so much evidence that the taller tend to be more successful, that a bit of exaggeration is understandable. But do they really expect to get away with it? Discuss
My dad hated it when he was a kid - apparently, adults automatically assumed he was the eldest and blamed him for anything his mates did - but he rather enjoyed it when he got older...
I went out with blokes who were shorter than me when I was younger, but I'm not sure I'd have been too impressed with someone who lied about it...
see, my mom has always liked men that were tall. I don't get it. I like to be able to lay my head on my mans shoulder when hugging him. So about my height or a couple inches taller is about it for me. And if you lie about your height, what else are you lieing about?
I don't care about a guy being freakishly tall. I would like for him to be a bit taller than me. My boyfriend is about 5 inches taller than me and I'd say it is perfect lol.
No idea how tall I am, so I randomly picked 5'8" as my height. It'd be nice to be taller, but as long as I can deal with zombie midgets by holding their the top of heads at arm length and kicking them in the balls I'm content. Plus I have New Rocks. I could nut Darth Vader in those babies. He'd force choke me to death afterwards, but he'd have to spend half an hour panel beating his face back into shape.
I dunno, but it sucks when you're honest about your height 5'9"/5'10", depending on how rough a day I had.
I'm rather large in all three dimensions. I feel gigantic at school 'cause I swear all the chicks are like a foot and a half shorter than I am.
What's wrong with shorter guys? Shorter man usually = smaller man => smaller appetite => smaller grocery bill => larger bank account => more fabulous trips to Disneyworld. Makes sense to me.
I'm 5'3" and have always prefered men taller than me by a few inches at least. Not sure why. I did go on a date with a guy shorter than me and it totally turned me off. The So is about 5'8-10" and it's pretty much perfect.
6'2". It's easy to see why somebody who is less than six feet might have a complex about it. Real men tower over such boys.
^^^ Yes, I consider myself to be average height at best. Anything less than 6 feet is a birth defect.
I like guys who are a few inches taller than me, preferably at least 5'9" Of course, anything past 6'2" - 6'3" is just "meh"...
