Multiple new Star Trek series in the works

Hmmm. I agree that's probably Starfleet Academy. The people in those uniforms all look fairly young.

The comm-badges look quite big to me. I wonder if they've changed.

Hard to tell cuz of blur, but they almost sorta look like the ones from "All Good Things..", and "The Visitor", and "Endgame".

I think @Diacanu is right, it looks closer to STO uniforms. It's not the old uniforms becau there's no grey turtleneck underneath. The com badges are just the delta and if you look at the Vulcan in blue, the ranks are on the chest like STO. I think Picard is recruiting his crew.

I'd love to see Data/B9 show up, but still retarded like he was at the end of Nemesis.

The problem is that TNG was NOT "at its best" through most of its run.

According to the St09 prequel comic (which JJ considers canon), B9 became Data, and he's captain of the Enterprise-E.

Stuff for both Picard and Lower Decks will be premiered at SDCC.

CBS and Viacom likely to re-merge. Why? Because of Trek. It seems that CBS and Viacom want to follow the Disney playbook and get their most valuable intellectual properties under the same roof. Viacom owns Paramount (and Nickelodeon), which controls movie Trek and also the Mission Impossible movies, CBS has the TV versions.

I think all three are getting trailers.
Plus, the whole Picard cast will be there, so we'll get to know the whole crew.
