Actually, my middle name is Ellen. Wander is my maiden name. I went to an all-girls' high school, and we were in the habit of using first name-maiden-name-married name so we'd remember each other.

Again, Dayton has (a) admitted frequently he doesn't like women characters and (b) he doesn't have more than three or four friends. More to the point, there weren't any space battles in Dwellers, so nothing about it was going to satisfy his very narrow worldview.

The novel was published in 1985. It sold 150,000 copies and was on the Times list for two weeks. His petulant little comments are hardly going to affect that at this point.

You could've posted the review here by upholding your own alleged standards rather than going over to Amazon and posting in on a public review site for potential customers to see. Most honourable people, knowing that it would be a negative review, and a totally nonobjective one (which is evidenced by the deliberately aggressive inclusion of spiteful sentences like "this book is awful" and "try to forget it"), would have refrained from posting it in such a place, and rather offered the critique privately on WF.

You have totally made a mockery of your previous complaints and once against demonstrated your own hypocrisy.
