Pyongyang will only be showing highlights of the goal they scored against Brazil. It will be edited in a running man style and no-doubt the only goal of the game in the world cup final!

    Anyway, Ronaldo’s my captain! ;)

That's what I hate about football.

I can't stand the fake diving, crying, play acting and rolling around. If you're really hurt that's one thing but if your not just get the fuck up and get back in the game.

I think they should have a rule that when you pull some drama like this you get the black card and not the other guy even if the other guy is actually guilty of something.

Wait! Some of you are :wtf: at a black card? That's also part of my new rule. You get a black card for your fake drama bullshit and a:

comes galloping on the field, runs you down and cuts your fucking head off!

I wonder if Mexico gets flagged for offsides more than other countries?

I've no doubt some of the facts were right.
Its pulling them out of the reams of "SENSATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" that can be difficult.

Soccer's dreaded black card sounds a lot like the Pirate's black card

With that penalty miss, I think Villa is unaware I have money riding on him...

    Score some more! Now!

Well, Honduras played better than last time, but they still have no idea what it means to KEEP SPAIN FROM CLUMPING INTO A DEFENSIVE POSITION. Seriously, it's not about one guy running for the goal, it's about the team spreading out the opposition and striking when an opening occurs.

Next game I'm watching is Spain vs. Chile.
I'll root for Chile, methinks. Their revamped team has some promise.

    Unfortunately they didn't do enough.
It was great to see them beat France, but it just wasn't quite enough and they go out
    Pity :(

Very true. My wife and I were talking about it. She says there ought to be some special consolation prize for them.

Well, we've got Mehico vs Argentina, South Korea vs Uruguay.

Seeing France getting sunk was fun, almost a replay of 8 years ago :jayzus:

With Argentina, still the worry about how wasteful they are in front of goal, although they're hardly alone - Villa should've had another 2 goals last nigh.

England will prevail. Don't worry, my English friends. The guys just need some time. I hope so, because a world cup without England is no fun to watch.

France? Muahahaha! Shame... So many good players and such a poor performance. IMO, they should stay in South Africa for a few weeks, or else they will get lynched. They have such a nice tradition in France! Remember the guillotine....

    LOL!

Ok, thanks to this metrosexual peacock, there are more women who are interested in this wonderful sport that is soccer. However, I HATE his guts! He is the king of dives.

Ok, Drogba is a king of dives, too, but thanks to C. Ronaldo, even more Americans think that soccer is a sport for gays. I can't blame them.

Not to forget David Beckham, the shame of England. He gave soccer a bad reputation worldwide. :shakefist:

America again gets robbed of a goal.

I'm thinking some refs need their eye sockets broken after the World Cup is over.

I'm not a soccer (football) fan, and only happened to catch the last bit, but I'll admit that was an exciting victory.

Yeah congrats to the US, they deserved to get out of that group. Especially with all the bad decisions that seem to have gone against them

Actually, hard to say right now. Ghana leads Group D with 4 pts, Germany and Serbia each have 3, Aussies have 1. Depending upon the results from later today, any of those teams could move on (although it'd be highly unlikely for the Aussies).

Congratulations to the USA, this victory was well deserved. Two regular goals (one against Slovenia and one today) not given by the ref, but still winner of the group! Last minute victories are the best! :)

England should have scored more than one goal today, Rooney alone should have scored twice. But a victory is a victory! However, against the Germans you guys should not waste so many chances... Or must I quote Gary Lineker now to remember you about ze Germans? ;)

It's England. So it'll be Germany and penalties.

All of this has happened before; all of this will happen again. :borg:*
