Trump looks unhappy in the sombrero. How the fuck can you not be happy in a sombrero? It's like being unhappy in a birthday party hat! Wait let me cancel that last example......

The supposed refugees, who fit no legal definition of being a refugee BTW, are from various central American countries not Mexico. Mexican organized crime groups just make a ton of money trafficking them while the people themselves are mostly just fleeing poverty.

The problem is being poor doesn't qualify one as a refugee and we can't take them all in and give them welfare without turning our own country into a 3rd world shit hole. My preferred solution is to give foreign aid and assistance in building the rule of law (law enforcement training, policy help, etc...) then strictly enforce the border with harsh penalties for criminals who break our laws. That will deter law breaking and force people to actually use the legal immigration system for a change.

BTW the Mexican trafficking groups usually charge these supposedly penniless "refugees" $6000 a head to transport them to across the border. The reality is they are not penniless, they could do things legally if they wanted to do so, but simply find it easier and more convenient to break the law even committing felonies like reentry after being previously deported.

Sorry Dinner - the phrase "kids in cages" has exploded, thus if your facts are correct it will fall on deaf ears because......kids in cages! :drama:

Yeah, for an average of 36 hours immediately upon arrest. After which they are transferred to actual CPS or contracted care facilities. So, yes, you are lying when you claim they are kept in cages any longer than is necessary to process them.

I don't think you know what whataboitism means. It is an attempt to change the subject to something unrelated. Pointing out that the same condition has existed for several years with nary a peep before is not whataboutism.

They've been turned away repeatedly at the border with the expectation that they will either 1) fuck off, 2) die or 3) cross illegally and turn themselves in, meaning we can treat them like scum even though they committed legally no worse an offence than a parking ticket. Or 4) cross illegally and not turn themselves in, in which case the GOP can point at the swarm of illegals crossing the border.

This is all just red meat to toss to racist fucks like you. Establish proper and fit facilities on the border to cope with the numbers of refugees and sort out the ones who don't qualify, and this won't be an issue.

Of course, it still means the actual refugees will be coming in, fully vetted, AS THEY SHOULD. But you don't want that, do ya? You want 'em all excluded. Go on, admit it - honest hatred is at least refreshing.

Be interesting to hear what criteria Dinner sets for "being a refugee".

Sessions is pulling back on some pretty big ones, which is the only time you'll hear "Sessions" and "Big Ones" in a sentence that doesn't include "Crimes Against Humanity".

    https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/en...ants-to-turn-away_us_5b2b966ee4b0321a01ce5efb

Of course, certain elements within the GOP are actually pretty jealous of Honduras and its ability to treat women like shit.

Do you enjoy lying? They can wait on the Mexican side for openings to become available. Saying you have to wait in line to be processed is not the same thing as denying them a chance to be processed. So you really should stop lying.

Don't you feel embarrassed about how all the outlandish claims made by your side keep getting proven to be out and out lies? Will you ever stop and realize you got played like a fool?

I mean look at this sequence of events:

"OMG! They are keeping kids in CAGES!"

Yeah, for a few hours while they are processed by authorities then they are quickly sent to child care facilities.

"LOOK AT THIS CRYING GIRL BECAUSE YOU TOOK HER AWAY FROM HER MOM!"

Her mom is standing right next to her and the two were never separated.

    "BUT THE CHILD IS CRYING!"

Her own mother said her daughter was just tired and dropped her toy.

    "BUT THEY ARE REFUGEES!"

The mom abducted her daughter from her ex-husband who had legal custody of their child.

"So she was fleeing domestic violence!"

Except, no, she cheated on her husband, he divorced her, won in court, yet the unfaithful now ex-wife decided to abduct their daughter and move to Texas to be with her illegal alien boyfriend she had cheated on her husband with.

"How can you say I have been wrong and played like a fool?"

Because you have, dude. From start to finish.

It's illegal under international law. You're obviously big on punishing crime, but this is committed by the white gub'mint against those swarthy types you despise, so you give 'em a pass because of the hate lodged deep in your shrivelled, wrinkly balls.

Lest anyone think this is a logical policy, take a look - here's how safe Mexico is for asylum seekers, and here's the obvious, logical "wait your turn" mentality at play...

    https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/...mean-asylum-seekers-could-be-sent-back-to-die

You should sign up, D. You'll get a gun and a badge and the ability to harass brown folk and all the other shit you think will compensate for your abject failure as a human being. The other ICE agents will still laugh at you behind your back though. At least WE do it to your face, you cunt.

so riddle me this Batman - poor people from various countries (and continents) are trying to get to the US - I get that. But why the US? Why don't they stay in Mexico? Why don't they try to get to Canada? Fuck why not the UK? But a lot of people on wordforge are busting on the US for fucking this up. Is the US the only game in town? Why is the burden on taking care of these people on the US? Fuck they are already in Mexico - why don't you lean on Mexico to help these refugees/immigrants? Is the US held to a higher moral standard? If so, why? Most of you people who hate Trump/the US are all for the US accepting immigrants into the US. Why do you want immigrants to come to a country that you yourself hate and consider substandard compared to your own left leaning ideals ? SHIT OR GET OFF THE POT people. If the US is so fucked up then why do you want immigrants to be allowed come here? Shouldn't you encourage them to stay where they are if we are so evil?

If an American citizen is arrested or detained while committing a crime and they have a minor child with them...and no family member is available to release the child in to the custody of... guess what happens to the American child?

Why should we treat anyone claiming refugee status (but as yet ungranted) BETTER than our own citizens?

    Completely agreed.

People vote with their feet. The only thing you need to know about a country is whether people are trying to get out or trying to get in.

If the U.S. is so bad,

    A) Why are people trying to get here?
    B) Why aren't people here now trying to leave?

Back when President George W. Bush was elected (then reelected) a fair number of wealthy celebrities claimed they would leave the United States. Why didn't they leave? And why haven't they left now given that Trump is many times worse than Bush.
