Says the guy who when asked to provide objective (or any) evidence for his claims seems to have trouble doing that.

    Oh, no. :nono:
You are asking me to rehash conversations I've already had. You are just as able to use this shitty search function as I am.

yet you've still never actually brought any evidence... objective or otherwise.

just a bunch of name calling and baseless accusations.

the lack of empathy along with the complete mischaracterizations of others' struggles supports the earlier contention that you were born on second base and grew up bubble wrapped.

Pretty sure that you wouldn't be rehashing conversations you had, because I don't remember you ever pointing to Disney (or any other project) and pointing out exactly how a diversified project made something substantially worse.

In this thread, you brought up The Rings of Power, but didn't go into more detail about how whatever diversification is involved in that made it substantially worse.

It would have taken you about as much effort as it did to repeat your argument from wherever in your head you might have made it though. So even if you have laid out your evidence previously, not either reiterating it here or doing that search and saying "here's a link to where I called out X"

I would imagine it would be really hard for him to remember everything his masters say to him and then form that into coherent arguments instead of mottos and mansplaining albert island philosophies.

He is good at giving openings for word dumps, but even I cannot keep up with every opportunity he presents. If I were to do so I would become a lot more like @Ten Lubak but much more wordy, intelligent, good looking, successful, meaningful, and all of the good shit he i snot.

People are noticing that Dakota Johnson is shitting all over the MCU, superhero movies, and Madame Web itself during her press tour, but almost everyone seems to find it adorable and funny.

Not like when that ungrateful half-breed bitch said impolite things about the original Snow White, that was evil and wrong and she's a monster.

Actors overtly, in press events, stated their purpose of representation and identity politics above all else. Separately, the writers and producers expressed overt hostility towards the source material. It's not my fault if you couldn't be bothered to pay the fuck attention.

got a link to a quote, or shall we just take your interpretation as being in good faith?

Since it's so impossible to miss it should be easy to provide these examples of them talking about those things above all else.

Also, some creatives having hostility toward the source material is always a thing. Adoration got us The Motion Picture, a director with no love for Star Trek gave us The Wrath of Khan.

Tony Gilroy openly describes himself as "not a fan fan" of Star Wars, and created Andor, one of the best explorations of that universe that exists.

You're already trying to excuse and rationalize it. Really motivates me to track down and transcribe 2 year old videos.

Go ahead and believe Rings was something other than a vehicle for identity politics and hack wokescold writers riding the coattails of actual talent to propagate their message. Costs me nothing.

clearly you feel bullied by hollywood and the not white enough people not catering to you by their being included.

Maybe you should try to pay attention to what you've said, especially when it's in the post that's in play.

anyways... got a link to support your claim of what your woke oppressors said?

You need to concentrate more on holding a train of thought yourself before you go speaking for anyone else's mentality. You're not just going to make shit up and demand I answer for it. Go fuck yourself.

In fact I was just reading an article about this (not respecting the source material) and still have it up:

    https://screenrant.com/cavill-told-us-the-real-reason-hes-leaving-the-witcher-a-long-time-ago/

But I would again like to point out how fucking stupid and pig shit ignorant it is to talk about ‘a source’ for a fucking fairy tale.

The Classic Fairy Tales (Norton Critical Editions) https://a.co/d/gPvxANV

Here are 44 different versions of SIX ‘Classic Fairy Tales’ and this isn’t even every version!

That's a bullshit gaslight and you fucking well know it. This is Disney, remaking and shitting up A DISNEY MOVIE, for the express purpose of vandalizing it with modern identity politics.

    Figures

I knew you were lying about "Actors overtly, in press events, stated their purpose of representation and identity politics above all else. Separately, the writers and producers expressed overt hostility towards the source material. It's not my fault if you couldn't be bothered to pay the fuck attention."

But so did everybody else, so no great achievement on my part.

wow... inclusion in a remake of a movie that you'd likely never pay to see is now "vandalism"?

nope, not a fragile racist at all.

This movie is not in theaters yet. You have not watched this movie. Yet based on the ethnicities of some of the actors hired for the movie, you're throwing out phrases like "shitting up" and "vandalizing" to describe the final product, which again you have not seen. :marathon:

"Modern identity politics" is also an interesting phrase to use. It seems like you recognize that identity politics has always played a role in how stories are told.

Is there a compelling reason you'd prefer that modern productions let their work be influenced by the identity politics of bygone eras rather than modern identity politics? Shouldn't modern art reflect modern times?

There was some early footage released, and insufferable brat Rachel Zegler has given some broad outlines of the plot.

Both of which you can fucking dig up yourself.

Not always. And this paint by numbers "men bad, white men extra bad, girl boss always" narrative is getting tiresome.

I want entertainment to be entertaining, not political. And you can fuck right off with the "absence of politics is political" douchebaggery.
