I really can't wrap my mind around the gullibility and stupidity necessary to believe that there's such a thing as "partial birth abortions" Back when I was a conservative I still didn't buy that bullshit. The only similar procedure that happens in the last days of a pregnancy - incredibly rare - is when the fetus unexpectedly dies and the corpse needs to be removed. You have to be a complete goddamn record-setting moron who's confused by shoelaces to believe that any woman would carry a pregnancy past 35 weeks and then, casually, decide "fuck it, I don't want to do this anymore" and an order of magnitude MORE stupid than even that to believe any medical provider will just simply agree to abort a healthy pregnancy at that point.
The whole argument of I do not want abortion used as BC is stupid and shows that they really just want to punish women for having sex. I used to buy that argument until I thought one step into it. The most irresponsible people would be the ones who use abortion as BC because it is the most expensive and invasive form of BC. You do not want those people to raise a child because they do not do well, and they will resent the child. You cannot have resentment for a child you are raising because you will kill it, abuse it, or neglect it. You will seek drugs to escape from it. Just let them abort because you cannot make them handle responsibility by throwing the world's biggest responsibility onto them as punishment for casual sex without BC. That is a child, not a punishment. That makes parents open air prisoners to an 18 year sentence for a natural act of pleasure with some idiocy. That is not even a rational level of punishment if you think casual sex is a crime and bad.
Yeah I don't know where anyone ever got the notion that Democrats support abortion up until birth. Oh it was former Klansman black face Democrat governor Ralph Northam.
Now taking bets on whether or not it will be steal your face, or faceman who tells you blackmail and terrorism are two ideas.
I am in favor of mandatory vasectomies for anyone over the age of 14. It's time we go to the source of this issue.
This "leave it to the States" shit ain't flying even with some judges IN TEXAS - though the State here will seek to challenge the decision: They'd punish her and her doctors for THIS? Fuck the Right. Fuck anyone like FF who smugly says "States rights" here. Fuck anyone who makes a religious argument and thinks any God WORTH praising would allow this shit. https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/en...emergency-abortion_n_6571ee09e4b0f96b99da5482
The next talking point will be "See? The law worked as intended; the person whose life was in jeopardy was still able to get an abortion!" Because if every once in a while a Democratic judge is able to prevent Republicans from punching you in the nose, that means you should vote for the party that wants to punch you in the nost.
Or you should say you're not voting for Republicans, even though you support everything they do and are happy when they win, and also you totally do vote for them. You know, like some people do.
Texas keeps re-electing these villains Texas’s Attorney General Has a Ghoulish New Abortion Stance | The New Republic This is Texas AG Ken Paxton saying he’ll throw a woman’s doctors in prison for life if they perform a *court-granted* abortion on a *nonviable* pregnancy that risks causing her permanent infertility and death. Pro-life my ass
I think I've mentioned before, I watched a video dissecting "The Turner Diaries". Toward the end, when the Nazis are having their victory slaughter (and it's Hamas level gruesome) they're killing literally everybody, even their own people, and their logic is, they should WANT to die for the cause, and if they don't, then they deserve to die. This from the people cozily not being mass-hanged, of course. I think this is how the anti-abortion people justify the deaths of mothers. That they're righteous sacrifices to Jesus, and they should want to die, and if they don't, fuck 'em. This from the people with no uteruses, of course.
Nah. They see government only as an instrument capable of inflicting pain and suffering on people. Their solution to this, instead of rethinking how government works, is to direct the pain and suffering on others.
And they've been spun this dark fairy tale by the rich who want to be unregulated and untaxed to the tune of nothing. It's all just so greedy fucks can add more zeroes to their final balance.
A lot of victim-blaming coming from the MAGA responses on this one. Which proves your point, they were never pro-life. It’s all about controlling women.
Texas Supreme Court help up that court decision while they think about it. She might die or lose her womb before they decide but that's a price they are willing to pay.
It is really an interesting law because if she goes and gets an abortion elsewhere the courts will probably throw the challenge out. If they go slow enough and she miscarries, they will throw out the case. If they do not do it in time and the baby is born they will throw out the case because it is irrelevant. So if they always drag their feet no one will ever be able to properly challenge the law because the case will always become pointless by a certain period of time. The courts never have to actually make a decision if they just keep on delaying enough which keeps the law from ever being fully challenged and overturned because no court works within the couple of months you have with a terminal baby. It is not even 9 months. This could all resolve poorly in a couple of weeks or even days. This is why these laws need to be challenged based on the reality they can not be challenged real time by someone with standing.
Not so fast. http://wordforge.net/index.php?posts/3513283/ Let's all be honest... wouldn't it be better for humanity, civilization and the human gene pool if we just glassed Texas?
The punditocracy seems to think the Democrats have expended all their fuel on this issue and the 2024 elections will be about Biden and the economy. Which is completely absurd, most women I know cast a major side-eye at the entire Republican establishment.
Republicans never spent all their fuel trying to ban abortion for fifty years...but Democrats only get two years to save abortion before everyone just shrugs?
So, guess who failed to secure an obvious domain name and now is probably regretting that decision? Give up? Here's your answer.
The Texas Supreme Court is stating that only a physician, not the legislature or judiciary, can determine when an abortion is medically necessary. But they are completely silent regarding the retribution, charges, fines, and career destruction that physician faces if they are successfully prosecuted by the Texas Attorney General.
