Yay, you are reading on a @Federal Farmer level. I am looking at the tweet and I see the word poverty but not unemployment. The term you are looking for is structural unemployment. In what Nina said SU is not going to be a contributing factor to poverty in a decent system. There does not have to be a descent into poverty because you chose to switch jobs or careers.

You should stick to arguing with people more your speed like FF or UA.

The same pressures to keep a degree of unemployment are the same ones that want there to be a level of poverty, because it makes people more willing to accept shit conditions.

Unemployment does not equal poverty. You tried in your original response to imply Nina was wrong because unemployment was poverty. The word unemployment was not stated in the tweet.

 

I did no such thing. I was agreeing with the post and providing another example of the ways that the inequalities in our societies are by design.
