Re: school vouchers ...

If I want a private security guard for my house, should I be given taxpayer money to hire one? And should that money then be taken away from the police department?

Also, tuition for most non-religious private schools is far more than the amount of the voucher, which means that it usually ends up either (a) mainly benefiting parents who could probably afford the tuition anyway, or (b) creating taxpayer-funded religious indoctrination programs.

Now, imagine staring at just the last panel for hours at a time every single day, year after year, and never experiencing boredom.

last time that was tried (and still the case for those who can afford it) the actual outcome was white bigots, generally neo-confederates, siloed off their child from any real conception of the world around them that threatened their status. Really hasn't ever matter how much math they learned, or whether they had a nice chemistry lab, or whatever - so long as they had a full measure of lost cause history and Christian Supremacy civics.
