Yep. They (scientists, pharma companies, etc.) all came together and worked together in 2020. Now, it's time for all the "I did that! It's mine!" lawsuits.

Oh yeah, I got my third booster along with the flu vaccine last Saturday. Didn't feel sick or anything from either one, but my arm was sore until Tuesday morning.
Very glad to have gotten my bivalent booster, and quadrivalent flu shot at the same time. Very sore arms though... the flu shot was the worst injection pain I can remember short of the HPV or tetanus vaccines. Completely zero energy from about 2 to 25 hours afterwards, and I felt a bit feverish about 20 hours in, but never had a temperature. Here's hoping this means I'm safe till the next variant.
All he had to do was drag his feet about answering the mask question. "We're still evaluating the effectiveness of various masks, please remember that social distancing and good hygiene are your main defenses and don't rely on any masks you may already have." Or whatever phrasing you prefer.
Covid will be a leading cause of death in the U.S. indefinitely, whether or not the pandemic is 'over'
Re: Bold: Yeah... we only have ourselves to blame as a nation, so there's really no reconcilation needed. Sure, Fauci's mask comments at the beginning should have been stated differently, but really, we're going to be paying for our cultural obstinance for a long time to come. And, frankly...
Flu was in the top 10 through 2020. Is the 1918 pandemic not over? Exactly what conditions need to be met in order for people to stop obsessing over covid?

There's a study that shows how Covid impacted Democrats and Republicans. It confirms what you probably suspect.
I got my bi booster last week. My left arm hurt for a few days, I got mild flu symptoms for 20 hours, but feeling good now. I somehow managed to avoid infection from two relatives in the mean time (who have otherwise been really careful).
The kid brought covid home last week. Moron wasn't masking at school. Luckily the new versions of the virus have mutated to be more transmissable but less impactful. We all weathered it fairly well, even my wife who hasn't been boosted because of her blood clots after taking the vaccine. Guess we'll see if there are any long term consequences, but seems unlikely based on not having severe symptoms.
