It's been improving*, especially after the riots when the various councils figured segregated communities and no-go areas at night didn't really do a lot for social cohesion, but I've seen some backsliding. Problem is a lot of the nutters get into positions of influence in local councils, and they've fuck all interest in integrating and no one is willing to pipe up lest they get tarred as a racist. Think Tower Hamlets, but worse.
