It sounds like you had a rough time of it, and you are overweight. The studies are already showing a really bad future for people with those problems. Avoiding the hospital for home treatment is not actually avoiding the damage done to your body from a heavy case of the virus. If COVID laid you out then you are damaged.

You know what would prevent the damage of a hard case of covid? The vaccine.

If I were betting my life I would have gone with a lower level infection over some really rare problems with the vaccine.
