Take a look in the Green Room. His threads are stillborn. Hell, the whole forum is dead for that matter. People aren't interested in politics being dragged into the Green Room, some people actually like to get away from politics every now and then. Go figure.

Garamet is shaking her pom-poms just as hard as she can but they still aren't showing up. Maybe Liet should park his "Free Candy" van in front of the threads (how about that for tieing it all back to the OP? )

Nothing has changed. The Green Room was pretty much always a general-discussion forum . . . Red Room Lite, if you will. IIRC, Cassandra/Aurora set it up that way right from the beginning. I don't understand why you guys think I've suddenly "added" something when it was there all along.

You guys probably need to add 'Please be kind to Liet!' to the forum description. Otherwise you're still showing favoritism.

Political threads started in the Green Room would have been moved to the Red Room in a heart beat.

The same way media threads are with one or two exceptions always dropped kicked into the Media Central Room.

Don't try to BS us that Cassandra set up the Green Room to also include political threads that would fall under Green Room rules. It's never been like that the whole time this board has been open.

No, like I said: the Green Room has always been a general discussion forum. In fact, the media threads were in there before we created a separate Media Central forum.

The political threads have been moved to the Red Room because a non-trivial number of you guys can't seem to debate in them without it descending into a flamefest. We did that rather than hand out warnings in the Green Room. The only thing that's changed is that a thread started in Green will remain in Green and the rules of that forum will be enforced.

Giving individual posters the option to say "please don't move this thread to the Red Room" is "reengineering." Hokay...

Because it's always been our version of Misc. and that was a scary place indeed.

New question: Is adding tags like "mewa on the down-low" permitted in the HD? That one wasn't there this morning.
