I first heard about it right here in this very thread. Then I Googled "Gun Appreciation Day."

Prior to this thread, the only mention of it I had seen was on my Facebook feed.

I've always noticed that on Facebook. Liberals in march step, probably doing it goose step style. Same spin/talking point/bullshit at the exact same time. They don't fuck around when they've been issued marching orders.

Yeah, but I see the same thing from a lot of my conservative friends, too. I've had to "correct" some of their disinformation before by providing links. Mostly, they appreciate the info and I can recall only a couple of them who seemed offended by the "correction".

OTOH, a goodly number of my liberal friends get pissed off when they're shown accurate information that conflicts with what they've been "told".

I block/delete a lot of people on facebook, but I bet that my ban list runs about 70/30 in favor of God fearin' conservatives. The Chik Fil A fiasco was basically Krystal Nacht on my friends list.

What's up with Actor Mike knowing so much about White Supremacists?

I've got mostly righties on my list of hundreds. There are only two that tend to go nuts every now and then and spam the shit out of everything. And they've never posted the same thing at the same time.

The liberals, on the other hand; I don't have that many, but they always post the exact same propaganda within hours of each other.

I'm kind of bummed out about losing my favorite parasite though. She's a fucking loon that rants about Christians to the point that the non-thiest group in town decided to kick her out. Once she claimed that the world would be a much more tolerant place if only Christians were extinct.

She couldn't see the irony in her statement at all.

She started a post one day about "Everyone knows I'm the most tolerant person around". I couldn't let that one go. I said "What? Do you seriously think you're a tolerant person?". She deleted the comment immediately and unfriended.
