A lot of good friends of mine would be surprised to learn that they're blocked on my Facebook feed.

It's probably split pretty evenly between liberals and conservatives. I'd block more conservatives, but a lot of the dumb stuff they post is actually pretty funny/entertaining. The blocked liberals are just...humorless...online. :jayzus:

No. It's just liberals being ignorant. Sort of like this one ....

If you guys are going to mock people over their stances on guns, then at least know your history. Morons.

I deal with stupid people every. single. day. The last thing I want is to come home and deal with them. Facebook is a continual reminder for me about why con-artists and scams are so successful. Humans, as a whole, are terminally stupid.

Case in point, the "Like this picture, wait five seconds, and watch what happens" crowd. Really? Then people fall for it multiple times? So, yeah, I have friends that cross every possible political spectrum. It's the same old, factually incorrect, regurgitated propaganda that I've seen my entire life.

It's gotten so annoying that I'm about to trim my "friends list" by about 8/10ths. Just today, I've had one liberal friend talking about how we, as a country, need to round up every gun in private hands by force if necessary. I had another conservative friend that talked about quitting his job and becoming an honest to God subversive if a ban is signed into law. The worst part? They were both Police Officers. :ohboy:

Edit: I guess I need to address the topic. Before this thread, I'd never heard of it. :clyde:

And you wonder why some of us are perplexed that you're trying to play the 'guilt by association' game with Gunforge and white supremacists?

So there are some racists that like guns, big deal. Guess what? There are GLBT folk that like guns, there are Jews that like guns, the history of gun control in this country has it roots in Jim Crow laws.

Perhaps the issue is more complicated than the limited scope of Red/Blue team sports?

I occasionally want to be fooled by those things, just because I am surprised by some of the people who apparently have fallen down that rabbit hole. And yet, it is indeed obvious that there is nothing to it.

It was three people shot and injured there, and there were two other accidental shootings at different Gun Appreciation Day gun shows.

There you have it. My sentiments exactly! Why should responsible gun owners suffer because young blacks (far more than any other demographic group) shoot each other up on a daily basis? If more young blacks had fathers at home laying down the law and guiding them, they wouldn't be out shooting themselves up.

But now that we are well entrenched in the third generation of fatherless black kids (and no sign of this trend slowing down) everybody suffers.

Keep it in your pants or stay the fuck with your family. This goes for all ethnic groups - plenty of shitbag fathers/husbands of all types.

Oh look, another reason for libs to piss themselves in fear and demand guns be stripped away from the other 99.9% of non-crazy, responsible gun owners.

Oh, look. Another reason for Gunforge to try to distract from the real issues.

If we're gonna start listing random murders committed by people with firearms, I have no doubt that Chicago or Detroit could keep this thread at the top of the page in perpetuity. :bergman:
