After doing a brief search, it appears I have 30 or so notification emails full of replies from 2005. I'll have to see if they are for threads that were disappeared.

I also found that I was warned at one point for pulling a Tasvir in order to piss off the admins.

And then some caht transcripts as well, but those need to get put in a purtier form.

I'm sure Borg's side could be dredged up from Lonaf if the board were still accessible, but I wouldn't be inclined to search even it were still up.

Well, there was also the fact that Borgs was an autocratic little bitch about all the changes... And for all that everyone enjoyed dumping on Aurora/Cass/etc for her moderate european views, she'd been an amazing founder, letting the place grow as it wanted and keeping the trains on time. The rebellion was a lot of folks who'd been on staff since day one, so we kind of resented the centralizing, top down attitude. He broke the place.. literally... on more than one occasion, despite the actual tech guys' advice.

Anc let @Borgs back in after he bought the place. He seems like he mellowed out from the asshole he used too for the couple of posts he made.

Yeah, the drama placed upon ostracizing him seems a little, well, dramatic in hind sight. A few of 'liteforge upper ranks were kinda paranoid over what he might be capable of.

Actually no. I always thought it was Rick Deckard.

1) The post of mine that the person who contacted my principal about was one that Rick was up in arms about (more than anyone else here).
2) In the comments to the principal, the person used terms that were virtually identical to the ones Rick had used in criticizing me.

But I'll admit that I have no actual evidence that Rick Deckard did it.

I've always wondered whether it was a fellow teacher who was lurking on one of the multiple sites Dayton posts at - not necessarily WF - saw him spewing his personal information all over the Internet, and out of concern for his imposing his opinions as fact on his students took this as a desperate measure.

I have no reason to believe Dayton was lying about that. But given how he posts everywhere with his name, has no filter, posted at a shit ton of other boards that I assume he's since been banned from and that the TK crowd loved to see WF turn on itself...I don't think another WFer sending it in was very likely.

You mean the same staff that placed you under watch and the principal who said he'd make sure you never work in the AK educational system again? Or the one where they held a hearing to fire you and you kept your job because of a technicality? Or the ones where you got RIFed since you were a pain in the ass and they had a convenient excuse to out you?

The first one you mentioned and the third one were the same school.

The second and the fourth were the same school.

At any rate, I found out years later (actually my wife found out) that the principal you referred to actually had an entirely off the wall reason for not liking me or wanting me around.
