You started another thread today saying you live in Arkansas today since it snowed there today. All it takes is 5 words in a Google search to find where your school is, and be extension the link or the text to be copied and pasted which you asked Chad to do.

I seem to recall reading about that as well, I can't find the link to the post where he explained that.

Do you know why he gets his students in trouble if they don't give him respect by default? It's because he's too incompetent to earn their respect and engage with then on any constructive level. Therefore he takes the coward's way out of using an old fashion ideal to manipulatively use this default authority over young children just to exact his own petty revenge.

After I read this sentence of your post I did exactly that and immediately found a link to the handbook via the first result Google returned. The search parameters in your paragraph are, as everyone knows, information revealed on WF, and outside of the Blue Room, by Dayton.

I can see it both ways. On one hand no one should have their personal information released without their permission but on the other hand Dayton specifically asked him to post it. Now he wants to take it back but it's too late.

If you are stupid enough to tell someone to publicly post a link to your personal information to prove they have it you really can't play victim about it when they do it.

Plus, this is obviously part of his usual game of baiting people and trying to use rules and staff to do his dirty work and I refuse to be a part of that game.

Bull. As ed629 illustrated the information posted above is directly available to anyone who decides to Google, and only use, information Dayton has provided on this board outside of the Blue Room.

While the physical posting of the school name might be considered a technical breach of the rules, the reality is that the name of the school would not be available to Chad, or anyone else, but for the information revealed by Dayton himself.

I think it's about using judgment. I don't have much of any opinion on the Hood situation because I don't recall it. I do know that Hood likes to play around with personal info that he knows, or thinks he knows, but, to my knowledge, he has always been warned for it, or banned, and the information deleted. If that was not the case with you then maybe there are some posts in the Shelter that discuss your issue and provide more enlightenment.

I think what sets Dayton apart of that he has made no secret of who he is, where he is and what he does for a living. He's even revealed openly the name of his mother, his wife and so on, and all outside of the Blue Room. For most of the rest us it's not quite as clear cut. Most have not intentionally revealed their names or locations here and anyone that knows the same has had to either get the information from accidental reveals, or from Facebook friendships. Indeed, even some who have revealed certain information in the past, may have, upon reflection, not done so. Dayton is no such person. He is a man who broadcasts most of his personal information on here, reveals all the required information necessary to access the remaining few pieces, and then cries foul when it backfires on him.

Like I say, it's a judgment call and I think the conduct of the "victim" is as relevant as the person revealing the information. Do the mods always get it right? Not always, especially with the likes of Tamar and her ability to curiously let off those who like her, but that doesn't still mean each incident/complaint shouldn't still be assessed on it's merits.

Respecting member privacy is always of primary concern, and personally I think it's a dick move to ever post a link to another member's workplace. Yet Dayton3 has repeatedly shared so much of his personal info that it's near impossible to know what he hasn't shared.

The easiest solution here is to provide a link to Dayton3 sharing this info. Maybe Chad could help out?

I can see I'm not winning anything on this one. I actually thought when I said my finger was over the "Notify Moderator" button that would be obvious that Chad did not have permission to post any link which indicate where I worked.

I actually felt that Chad was probably looking at my last schools information and had not bothered to find out where I worked currently. I underestimated his interest in trolling me.

Finally, I figured Chad would run away screaming when faced with a possible warning for a rules violation like Black Dove and Faceman did fairly recently (BD in Media Central, Faceman here IIRC) but when you can hide behind the skirts of a moderator I suppose one becomes bolder.
