Which he hid up his poop chute while on Nero's ship. Not even the Romulans wanted to cross that Neutral Zone.
I would hope it was the updated version: "where no one has gone before" If it's not then that means original Uhura was pegging Mr.Spock! No wonder he never gave a damn about nurse Chapel.
http://dickynoo.blogspot.com/2016/08/big-summer-movies-part-4-part-6.html I missed the hand in the credits.
I'm a little late to the party as I just saw it yesterday. Loved it. Best of the 3. Pine's Kirk felt more like Shatner in that he was more serious and commanding. Barking orders immediately and taking charge and managing the situation. I thought the story moved along and I was never bored. The callouts to prior episodes/movies didn't feel as forced as it did with the last movie. Feels like it was the end of a trilogy but at the same time a start of a new chapter. Yelchin will be missed.
To be honest, I don't think he will...and an actor of his caliber had already out grown Star Trek IMO. He will be missed for his talent in spite of Chekhov.
I'm not gonna lie, I feel bad for Yelchin but I won't miss hearing that fake Russian accent for a minute.
I think for 4, they should just have Chekov transfer to the Reliant offscreen, and Jaylah take his place. Easy-peasy.
I don't think I've commented on this flick yet. Silly, muddled plot. Instantly forgettable. Have no desire to see it again, although I may end up watching it when it inevitably hits FX channel. Does not give me hope for the next one. Why in the world would Chris Hemsworth want to return to this franchise after hitting it big with Thor? I bet Chris Pine doesn't like the prospect of being overshadowed yet again. First he's portrayed as a impotent frat boy compared to supervillain Khan. Now he gets to share screen time with the God of Thunder. Pine is supposed to be Capt. Kirk for gosh sakes!
Silly? Sure. But in a good way. Nothing remarkable, nothing that'll stick but it's entertainment. That's OK in my book. As for Chris Hemsworth... Thor has three more movies in him, RAGNARÖK and the final AVENGERS two-parter which will have so many heroes in it that it'll be hard to shine for more than two seconds. After that, he's done like the others.
Finally saw it over Xmas - need to watch it again on my shiny new 4K set now. Good film, definitely the best of the Kelvin Timeline output. All of the crew used well and Jayla wasn't a Mary Sue as feared. Some good laughs and a strong TOS feel throughout. I'll admit, I actually forgot Anton Yelchin died AFTER filming - I thought it was before - so the scene where McCoy breaks out scotch that he found in Chekov's locker (and the empty glass, which was actually for Kirk Senior) made me think they were toasting Yelchin at first.
