First, we don't need more prequel stuff. The less said about the prequels the better. They should be rightly forgotten in the dustbin of failed Hollywood history. (And yes, I know Maul was resurrected in Rebels but I thought his appearance in Solo was nothing more than a fanwank gimmick for the 14 people who actually liked the prequels.) Second, anyone can play Darth Maul. Park didn't voice the character anyway. David Prowse didn't play Vader in Rogue One but James Earl Jones voiced him, which was pretty key. In other words, who gives a flying fuck about Ray Park.
And it was at this moment where WAB became history's greatest monster. It was a day that would live in infamy.
He was resurrected in Clone Wars, not Rebels. Rebels just showed he was still up and about after Order 66.
