I JUST saw "THE RISE OF SKYWALKER" TWICE over the last 2 weeks. The second time was LITERALLY the LAST SHOW(ING) of "TROS" in my county & was lucky to have caught it a second time. I liked it. It has its obvious flaws & "flaws", but I still liked it better than "THE LAST JEDI". Also, love it, loathe it, &/or anything & everything in between &/or being neutral or undecided about "TROS", it's apart of the OFFICIAL canonuity (canon & continuity) of STAR WARS.

So how did they stick his soul in the new body? Was his original body just mostly dead, or did they hold a seance to find ghost Palps and force him into the clone? Because if it's the former, then all this was for nothing and he'll be back by dinnertime tomorrow.

It's how Palpatine came back in Dark Empire, and Lucas allowed that to be canon for almost 20 years.

I've not seen it yet. I've never been a huge Star-Wars fan, and I was underwhelmed by TLJ so I haven't bothered with TLS.
