Wow. In light of Lyman defeat, Russian z-journalist and blogger Anastasiya Kashevarova goes to telegram to post a long rant asking the right questions because all the other military bloggers have "pu*sied out". This is being picked up by other channels.

Fascists learning the problem with fascism (that the people that love you at the end of the barrel don’t love you when the barrel has to move) is just glorious.

Except for Tankies. Tankies still in shock and awaiting orders.

Russian mil-bloggers are freaking out. Multiple breakthroughs in Russian lines, not just in Luhansk but now also in Kherson.

I made the mistake of looking the term horseshoe up on Urban Dictionary. All that came up was a bunch of weird sex acts. While that does fit your M.O., I was certain that wasn't what you were talking about. Apparently it's a new term that shit libs on Twitter came up with meaning that someone on the far left will eventually end up on the far right because according to them, politics is like a horseshoe. It also stands to reason that someone on the far right (something I've been accused of being a part of on this board) would horseshoe back to being on the far left. Now that most certainly is your M.O. as well.

I heard this from Jimmy Dore who points out that Chris Hayes (who I loathe) is getting attacked by Twittards because he dared suggested that Ukraine should negotiate for peace because being anti war is somehow a right wing stance and not traditionally left wing.

Of course this comes off of the heals of the Roger Waters interview where he said the same thing and got blasted for it.

Here's another term to look up: appeasement.

Ukraine is winning on the battlefield right now. They are retaking huge swathes of territory.

If Russia wants peace, Russia can leave.

Suing for peace now would validate the war crimes committed by a totally unrepentant dictator while giving him exactly what he wants in terms of land acquisition, the rich mineral, gas and oil reserves he happens to have prioritized in his invasion. Which is surely a coincidence, right? It would also leave millions of Ukrainians as subject people to a genocidal dictator intent on population replacement and the destruction of their culture.

So the people arguing for 'peace' at this stage is just arguing for the totalitarians to keep their ill gotten gains.

Hard to believe you don't understand this. You certainly wouldn't be saying 'oh, just let them have it for peace' if it was part of the US.

It’s not appeasement to want to avoid the possibility of using nukes which is what’s being flirted with.

By that logic, Japan didn't unconditionally surrender, they sued for peace after some hostile negotiations.

Overreact much? Saying Ukraine has some problems is not supporting russian invasion. I feel for Ukraine under the Russian invasion that does not need to be happening, but I am pretty sure the country is not full of liberal GLBT loving rainbows. I would imagine they are probably on the roman catholic side of things which means white cishet males are the preferred class. I would imagine there is probably some good old anglo saxon superiority in the area that kinduv birthed the whole idea. It would be like going to the east coast of america and not expecting to see white nationalists protestants.

Putin attacking the Nazis was a terrible excuse for a regime that is really cousins to the Nazis. That was a bunch of bull, but I would imagine the white straight christian male is what is preferred by a lot of people in Ukraine. I do not think it is wrong that there was a Nazi current that was strong in northeastern europe today.

I knew Putin wasn’t bluffing about using nukes when he said ‘This is not a bluff’ in his nationally televised address.

It is seriously all they’ve got.

They are in serious danger of losing all of northern Kherson AND Luhansk and this is what they are pushing out:

The disadvantage of MAD as a strategy is it relies on your opponent believing you will indeed enforce the "mutual" part. If you give them ANY sign that they can use nukes (or threaten their use) without retaliation, they will do so or use the threat of doing so to gain concessions.

Putin cannot be shown that the threat of nukes gets him any reply beyond this:

Part of the problem is most of them do believe the propaganda that the Soviets beat the Nazis by themselves. And that was before the Oligarchs started stealing all their weapons.

The latest - 1.5 million uniforms have gone missing. They don't have fucking UNIFORMS because the kleptocracy stole them. Amazing.

We just blew up their pipeline, that's an act of aggression. If Putin is a mad man like so many try to characterize him as, then what's to stop him from retaliating even worse?

A staggering distortion of history because even if they DON'T credit the rest of the Allies, they beat the Nazis primarily due to the fact the Nazis came to them during winter. Putin attacked Ukraine in the spring, and Ukrainians tolerate the cold just as fucking well as Muskovites.

    No we fucking didn't.

Stop following the rabbit hole shit, Alice.

Tucker C (who you claim not to watch but even if that's true you still swallow his shit via the human centipede that is right-wing media) can only say Putin didn't do this because "he'd have to be a suicidal moron".

And yet you are fully prepared to believe that he'd launch nukes.

Christ, you're so easy to manipulate.

Now I can't help but wonder if you're actually that terrified of Putin, or if you're consciously parroting his scare tactics because anyone that's opposed to Biden must be good in your eyes? :chris:

During the Cuban Missile Crisis, the order was given for the Soviet fleet to nuke the US ships enforcing the blockade. The admiral given the order refused to carry it out. At various points in time during the Cold War, folks on both sides got indications that the other side had preemptively launched nukes. Protocol called for them to immediately do the same. Each time, they chose to wait and investigate, discovering that it was a false alarm.

Putin can give the order but that doesn’t mean it will be obeyed. Statistically speaking, the odds are if he does give such and order, it won’t be obeyed.

If John Brennan says it, you can pretty much bet on the opposite being true. It's not just right wing media questioning this, it's left wing media as well.
