Not only is he comparing total U.S. aid to Ukraine (military, financial and humanitarian) to military aid only to Afghanistan, he's hoping you won't notice that the Afghanistan number doesn't include what we spent on sending our own troops there for 20 years. The actual estimated cost of our involvement in Afghanistan is approximately $2.3 trillion.

You either didn't watch the video, or are being deliberately misleading in your description of it since you summarised it as:

When the video makes the very specific point that he is picking out military aid provided, but not overall spending, and that there wasn't as much military aid provided o Vietnam and Afghanistan because the US itself was involved in the fighting.

So which is it?

Correct, the US is putting many other nations to shame in the amount of support given to Ukraine. The rest of us should be doing more both because it's the right thing to do, and because it would help undermine Putin's attempts to frame Ukraine as a US puppet.

Hell, the alliance between Russian Orthodox church and Evangelicals, when the former was being blackmailed by the FSB since the late 1980s and the later is corrupt itself, such as Falwell.

We saw Rand Paul protest against NATO and be called out by McCain for being a Russian asset, we heard McCarthy's voice on tape saying he believed Russia paid Trump and Rohrbacher, we saw Trump openly align himself with Russia including helping them with their attack on Ukraine, and we saw US Senators go bend the knee to Putin on the 4th of July.

And yet some people still are captured, despite all of this data.

Because they are stupid, contemptible morons.

And that makes them traitors to boot.

Posting facts is not the same as having sympathy. I don't have sympathy for Putin.

In our country, too, this war has shown the true nature of many people. Upright, oh-so-patriotic "conservatives" have turned out to be fearful worms who would probably immediately lay down their arms in any conflict and leave the population to its fate. And former hippies have seen through their own rose-tinted world view and turned into hawks in no time.
