Does UA realize that if he is smelling BO and failure it is wherever he is at and does not come across the internet? Or have we invented smellovision?

    but to the point...

As a board member of a multi million dollar housing non profit, I'm on first name/recognize you in the street bases with both my city councillor and MPP.

Part of the "never off the clock" aspect of my job is to identify myself, observe and intercede as advocate when appropriate if I see an unhoused person interacting with the cops...

My job itself includes referrals in helping people get off of the street and into housing,

And I'm pretty well known around my area for being a reliable volunteer grunt...

Libertarians take the old saw "the road to Hell is paved with good intentions" literally, and take the next step of "fuck good intentions".
It never occurs to them the road to Heaven has never been paved with bad intentions, and to maybe modify the phrase to "the road to Hell CAN be paved with good intentions".
Nah, fuck that, black and white, on and off, binary.

...however the sentence after it suggests you were asking in a general sense by demanding something more quantifiable than "consistently making you show your ass".

I get that you didn't learn much from school, but paragraph structure is just as important to written communication as sentence structure is.

Not nearly so coat-effectively (as if you care about that), nor with such high returns in terms of deterring the next several wars (which you should care about).
Because it’s people who want to fund neither against people who want to fund both, and this is the only compromise they could come up with? I dunno, you have a better theory of legislative crafting?

    Russian BMP vs Ukrainian drone.

    https://twitter.com/bayraktar_1love/status/1607730486440247298?s=20&t=sYr6zbsF5FUlKL7sB5UuWQ

And judging by this compilation video, Russians forces haven't learned a fairly simple rule: If you see a drone, shoot the motherfucker.

    https://t.co/fnGh5K9YVO

Look, I can get not shooting at a drone that's 1K FT up in the air, but there's literally shot after shot in that video of Ukrainian drones being less than 50 yards away from Russian soldiers (who appear to be looking directly at the drone), and the soldiers not doing anything until like a second or so before the drone kamikazes in and blows them the fuck up. In one of the videos, dude points a weapon at the drone, watches it get closer, appears to open fire, then rolls away quickly on the roof of the vehicle as the drone smacks into it.

SO IT BEGINS: Russian banks don't have cash to satisfy withdrawals and pension payments. Bank employee tells pensioners in line to go home. This will hit undeveloped regions living in poverty first, but will likely eventually reach #Moscow and #SaintPetersburg.

    https://twitter.com/igorsushko/status/1606757335556554752

More and more evidence appearing online of a run on Russian banks. In the videos posted, banks are either out of cash as long lines form by ATMs or are giving fake reasons for why people can’t withdraw their money. The Russian Ruble is down nearly 20% to the USD in recent weeks

    https://twitter.com/visegrad24/status/1607153592481505281

Russia has been stabilizing the ruble with its energy reserves. But NG prices are cratering due to excess supply, and Putin is cutting off his own nose to spite his face by playing one of the few cards he has left, though a wildly ineffectual one - cutting off energy sales to countries that have put price caps in place.

So the ruble is sinking fast, and people can't get their money out of banks. There's some indication that Putin is seizing bank contents and then converting them into military bonds but that keeps people from getting their money...

Another one from John McCain (who also called out Rand Paul for being a Russian asset). He called Putin's ambitions correctly in 2014.

Too bad there aren't any patriotic Republicans left. They are all vile, servile scum, or they've been voted out. That's what the base wants, and that's what Rupert Murdoch, the Kochs, and the Dominionists empowered.

The AFU may soon enter Kreminna. If the city is captured, Russians positions in Luhansk Region will be seriously weakened, and the AFU will be able to take control over the main roads to Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk, said Head of Luhansk regional administration, Serhiy Hayday.
    https://twitter.com/nexta_tv/status/1608049505144012800

Serhiy Haidai writes: “When we de-occupy Kreminna it will be the turn of other Luhansk cities, because they are so destroyed they are not suitable for defence.” He says Ukraine may liberate Starobilsk afterwards, or move on Rubizhne and Severodonetsk to relieve Bakhmut.

In addition to the military command of the Russian Federation, Russians who who came to work in Kreminna have already left. –Serhiy Haidai, Head of Luhansk Regional State Administration

The key appears to be the logistics rail junctions in Kreminna. The infrastructure here runs North-South. Severing the junction at Kreminna stops rail resupply to Luhansk, and would almost certainly relieve the attack on Bakhmut.

    https://www.rferl.org/a/ukraine-kre...s/32197165.html#0_8_10089_8766_2710_245382651

The Russians know this and are digging in with all they have - especially mines, which will be a problem for decades after this. But if Kreminna falls everything that Moscow has gained in the last year is in jeopardy.

And this is interesting - a drunken Staff Sergeant conscript beat to death another conscripted man, though this one his Captain.

The interesting part? The sentence is between 5 and 15 years if found guilty.

I can see a bunch of draftees doing the math right now before they are fed into the meat grinder.

Russian general injured by falling icicle and hospitalized.

    https://twitter.com/bayraktar_1love/status/1608113994723622920?s=20&t=Cm9EZZEwxpfXvh2ICPhHuw

There's a five-second security cam clip that supposedly shows the incident. The camera's, at the barest minimum, 100 yards away. You can see the big ass icicle falling to the ground, but you can't see any people getting hit by it. You also have to wonder how someone could get whacked by that thing. It almost certainly made a fuckton of noise when it started to fall, and it ain't exactly rapidly headed towards the ground. For someone to get clobbered by that thing, they'd either have to be completely unaware of their surroundings, or so close to it that they'd be visible on the video, I'd think.

Video of Russian armored column getting fucked up by Ukrainian drones.

    https://twitter.com/wartranslated/status/1607844292084613122?s=20&t=sqYQ8vX9tNuCeFrl1W7OWA

The phrase "dynamiting puppies in a barrel" springs to mind. Honestly, if I were a Russian conscript and I saw that video, I'd fucking surrender to the Ukrainians immediately. This isn't like the videos you saw of the US fighting house-to-house in places like Iraq. It's like watching livestock being herded into the killing gate at a slaughterhouse. Honestly, the Russian generals should be considered guilty of murder for sending these forces out, knowing that they're so woefully ill-equipped to handle what's being thrown at them.

Nah, that's Putin's master plan, and why he looks so sick and frail. He's been going at it for sperm donations 24/7 for the last year thanks to a 275 lb former Soviet weightlifter Ludmilla and a broken down cow milking machine.

In a generation all the Russian children will ride very small ponies shirtless and be throwing each other out of windows and down stairs until only 1 Pootie reigns supreme!
