Some may join gangs, some end up in a vicious cycle of being in and out of jail, some lack the ambition to strive for something better, some don't have good role models that push them and encourage them, some just aren't that talented and end up in medocre jobs, some choose to stay in their neighborhoods to try and improve it, some have families/ get married early in life and are ill prepared so they basically get stuck there, some just have shitty luck. There's a whole host of reasons why people don't rise out of poverty, I can only make guesses.

I am good with gender stereotypes being broken down. Playing with a barbie or wearing pink does not magically turn you into a girl if you are a boy. If it did there would be no trans kids because you would just find something of the other gender and use it and bingo you would change genders. All this stuff is man made and human categorized anyway.

As for the videos she did a youtube search and then posted all the unrelated results and then tried to pretend that is how it is going to be presented to a first grader. No, that is not how it works in any way. If the teacher leaves their porn results up on their searches with the first graders while presenting media to first graders, get rid of that teacher for being a fucking moron. Do your job and properly isolate your classroom videos before presenting them. It takes a few seconds and if you cannot do that then go be a dog groomer.

looking at the boy's latest meltdown this bill really does not accomplish any of the real damage they want. It is not like the other attempts to stop gender affirming care during the years of puberty which will harm a trans child throughout their life.

Modern Floriduh just is not the middle of the US or america in the mid 1900's. What they are doing is really abusing teachers because at these ages the children here have a lot of exposure to GLBT people even in areas like Ocala and the panhandle. There is technology access and GLBT people all over the place. There are some areas where you will find less support, but even in those areas there is a presence. I shit on FL but one great thing about this state is you get exposed to everybody unless you hide in a hole and shut your windows.

Yes, there is a population of rabid right trumpanzees, but there is everyone down here. I know it sucks, but there are tons of GLBT centers around. There are tons of clubs and bars. There are communities all over the place. This just really limits teachers, and unlike other places in red states they are not the only lifeline for GLBT children. The communities do outreach and there are so many of them.

Do not be disheartened by this particular bill. It will get destroyed, and all this does is encourage the GLBT people of FL to reach out harder in other areas.

The kids who really need help are the children of rural Texass, Idaho, Alabama, and other red fascist shitholes who are not surrounded by help. I am not saying don't dislike Desantis and floriduh republican scum like Rubio, Gaetse, and Scott, but we need to fight our ways into the red areas and help those who are being beaten back into the closet by the right wing fascists and freedom hates like @Federal Farmer and @Uncle Albert who do everything they can to bully and scare kids back into the closet because it makes them feel powerful.

This bill and the Texas investigations of parents of trans kids are obviously harmless so it's surprising to find an entire branch of the US military offering to assist or redeploy personnel if their mental health or those of their families could be affected by this definitely non-toxic hate-filled shit.

Why would a liberal teacher try to confuse children's gender identity? What is the end goal? If you follow their fears to the end result giving them all of the benefit of the doubt that they are right it does not actually end the world. It only is the end of the world in a religious sense because god is going to smite us all. We are at a stage of knowledge where we would do something if our population was actually ever to start to god down. God is not smiting us with horrible disasters, but nature is getting harmed and that causes changes in climate which will effect us. I am pretty fucking sure if child molestation, rape, murder, theft, and sin were actually a problem with god the catholic church would be disintegrated to atoms painfully. You cannot even get close to the atrocities committed by the abrahamic faiths on the earth. Asians and Indian people who far outnumber christians, jews, and muslims cannot compete with the disgusting human carnage and sadistic filth that have been done under the abrahamic umbrella.
