Cuba, after a national referendum, has made same sex marriage, same sex adoption, same sex surrogacy, and has changed the definition of "family" to include same sex partners and transgender folks. This has been added to their constitution, and is now the law of the land, with roughly 70% of Cubans supporting it. I have friends in Cuba, so I just wanted to share the good news for anyone who keeps an eye out on advancing LGBTQ+ rights.

I can't wait to see how Cuba develops once the US eventually normalises relations with them.
