Awesome cover I'm thinking most people forgot all about - younger people may not remember the cover let alone the original!
It takes about a minute to really kick in - be patient, it's worth it.

Awesome! Talk about bringing something new to the table and blowing the original out of the water! If Guns & Roses heard this they would slit their wrists in utter shame - but first give all the money they made off the original & give it to these folks!

This is why I created this thread. I love hearing interesting takes on rock songs and the like.

One of my all-time favorite covers is a country version of "Crazy Train" but ever since I heard it on college radio here I haven't been able to find the recording. All I know is that the band had a girl singer.

There was a bluegrass band that had a girl singer from the late 90s that did stuff like that, but I can't remember their name.

In 1970 that charted at #18 in the US and #3 on the US R&B chart.

I was eight years old then. I think I only heard the original Steven Stills version over & over on "classic rock" or what we used to call "rock" stations. Apparently this song has been covered by a lot of people other than the Isley Brothers from varying musical styles - the mark of any great song BTW. Speaking of covers the Isley Brothers version of Seals & Crofts "Summer Breeze" gets absolutely CRAZY with a long guitar solo toward the end. Those dudes could do it all - soul, pop, rock and everything in between.
