You should turn this into a betting pool. Then go spend a weekend pissing your money up the wall in Vegas and report on which one had the better return.

Not at the level of criminal proceedings yet and may not be - though Boris DOES currently need a shiny distraction from his own stealing-from-the-taxpayer accusations...

The scheme was there to help businesses retain/furlough staff but the two courses collectively fired 66 staff. Some have now been rehired, but at reduced pay.

It'll be interesting to see what the lawyers do.

Not the loyalists -- they'll just proclaim that it's all made up to discredit the hero who was getting too close to draining the swamp. But the only thing stronger than Trump's vanity is his need for self-preservation. I figure there's at least a 25% chance his lawyers try something like "he's too old and weak to stand trial."

    Which will be hilarious.

The question is, what reaction will it get from the people who worship Trump's supposed "manliness" and spend their time sharing thinly veiled fetish art of him on Facebook?

Will their heads explode, or have they gotten to the point where there is absolutely NO cognitive dissonance they can't rationalize?

The later, I'm sure. After all, it just goes to show how smart he is for manipulating the system like the alpha-male he is, and how smart they are for backing him.

It's the stupid people with knowledge and integrity that are the suckers.

Oh, and can I please have my donation that you automatically took out of my savings when I contributed to your campaign back, Mr. President? I'm on a limited income and need to pay for my meds...

They had him in their cross airs for a long time.

They are also investigating his son, no doubt as leverage to get him to flip on Trump. His son ran an ice rink in NYC for the Trump Org, got paid six figures, and got a free apartment.

Damn! Six figures for running an ice rink? That's a Hunter Biden "no work" job right there!

Agreed. Though Cohen is saying it's more likely he'll throw the kids under the bus to save himself.

That would be the Hunter Biden who graduated from Georgetown and Yale Law?

VP at MBNA, Vice-Chair of Amtrack, Chair of the World Food Program, CEO of the hedge fund Paradigm Global Advisors?

    That Hunter Biden?

I mean, you did check to see if Fox and Breitbart were telling you the truth about this guy's qualifications.

You didn't just take them at their word for it, did you?

Because that would make you look awfully stupid, wouldn't it?

Eh, let's not get too proud here. Trump, after all, did go to an elite military school and an Ivy League university. I don't think that either of us would claim Trump was some kind of genius. The same could well be true of Hunter. That's just one of the reasons why I think that we should prevent family members from running for the same political office that a relative of theirs had.
