This is one of the issues with a single special counsel. With the size of his purview, Trump just has to keep delaying and criming fast enough that the special counsel can’t finish investigating all the crimes (and so can’t/won’t indict for any of it) before the 60-day pre-election deadline.

Judge Kaplan in the Trump rape/defamation trial refuses to issue a gag order but has officially warned Trump's lawyers that their client is well into running afoul of several US statues, no doubt in witness tampering and intimidation.

He's also refused to all the lawyers to discuss who is backing Carroll's case, as evidently a small percentage of it was done through an outside party that had a few thousand dollars donated by known democrats.

He has said the Access Hollywood tape and Trump's misidentification of Carroll as his wife are admissable evidence.

Kaplan is nailing it so far. He's certainly giving Trump enough rope to hang himself, and the fact that he hasn't issued a gag order yet will no doubt help any penalties he does have to endure appellate action.

As an aside, Bannon is up at trial again in November for his 'Build the Wall' fraud. He was convicted and pardoned by Trump, but NY is going to try him on state charges. His co-conspirators have already been prosecuted and convicted, getting 3 and 4 years respectively. Be nice to see this asshole in jail.

Trump just posted he's on his way to Scotland and Ireland. Scotland supposedly wants to question him in relation to some money laundering schemes. The only thing we might get from this are Scottish tweets calling him "a custard flavoured jobby," (WTF is a "jobby" anyway? And why is their being custard flavored important?), "leather faced piss jar," "mangled apricot hellbeast," or "bawbag-eyed fuck bumper" (English, motherfucker, do you speak it?), it'll be worth paying attention to.

The National Archives says that they have proof Trump knowingly mishandled classified documents and have turned it over to the Special Counsel’s office.
