    Three rounds later:

At this point it seems to be who has the most will, the moderates or the crazies.

I’d personally bet on the crazies. They have no interest in governing. They have no reason to compromise.

They want their scalp. To be able to go on OAN and NewsMax and LindellTV and tell everyone how they defeated the swamp creature, to send out the fundraising emails.

Whereas the moderates both do want to govern/weld power AND have no spine. So they’ll cave like they always do and we will have a circus for 2 years.

I do have to say I found it incredibly amusing/infuriating this morning listening to some Republican bitch about the Freedom Caucus re McCarthy:

    Not negotiating in good faith
    Won’t take a win
    Keep moving the goalposts

Oh. Is that annoying? Frustrating when someone you are trying to negotiate with does that? Makes you just want to walk away and say fuck ‘em? Oh it does? Huh. Interesting.

You've got this completely twisted. The McCarthy people do not want to govern at all, they don't want to have to come to the house floor and actually debate bills. These twenty people who oppose McCarthy are trying to force Congress to actually do their jobs. There's nothing crazy about that.

    No?
    Didn't think so.

You have absolutely no idea what the word ‘govern’ means do you? (Hint, it isn’t political theater for getting on LindellTV/fundraising.)

I don’t blame you. You grew up thinking Ron Paul’s stunts were governing (how many bills did he get passed that weren’t renaming post offices in his district?). One day I hope you’ll grow out of such a childish mindset.

    I hope, but don’t believe.

You may be living in it, Subway Dayton, but you aren't paying attention

Boebert in her first 4 years has sponsored or co sponsored 41 pieces of legislation, important things like the "Stop The Biden Caravan" Act and the "Stop AOC" Act

    None have moved forward

Gaetz? He did a bit better with 43 peices of legislation (also with zero hits) including the "To Terminate the Environmental Protection Agency" Act and the "To designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 90 Palm Boulevard North in Niceville, Florida, as the "Doolittle Raiders Post Office Building". Sounds important!

If you don't see how this is just performative BS and not actual governing then the problem lies with you young lad

    Bryon Donald.

What made him qualified to be elected as a Republican in the House?

He pleaded guilty to a bribe in the pursuance of defrauding a bank.

The FL GOP controlled Legislature had the conviction expunged.

They actively look for criminals to court. They know they will do anything that is asked of them.

It's so funny to me that Lauren Boebert said she wants Trump — who refused to concede when he didn't have the votes to become President — to call Kevin McCarthy to tell him he doesn't have the votes to become Speaker and needs to withdraw.
