Lvl 4 human psion kineticist.
How many feats can I have, and if so, what feats should I pick?

Captain, what 2 bonus languages do you want me to have> I notice I get some due to intelligence bonus. The languages so far are elvish and common. Would dwarvish and orc be good picks?

Okay, TKO-

You have 4 feats: 1 for the psion bonus at 1st level, 1 for human bonus at first level, 1 just for existing, and 1 for your 3rd-level feat.

Without knowing anything about your stats, or your character style, here's what I would get:

1. Improved initiative. You don't have tons of HP, so you want to hit them first.
2. Weapon Focus (ray). You'll be doing more damage with energy missiles and other attacks if you specialize with your psychokinetic attacks.
3. Combat Manifestation. Very helpful when things get dodgy.
4. Power specialization (ray). You're a level-4 manifester, and this way you can do even MORE damage.

Alternatively you can take Craft Cognizance crystal for your 4th, but I don't think its worth it. Also, don't do metapsionics until you've got more levels and actually NEED to specialize that much.

Alright! The cutoff for people is THIS FRIDAY. By the end of the day, I would like to hear from you that you are DEFINITELY playing, and I want to see a character sheet that at least has your stats and class. You don't have to work out every last item and character point, but I need to know what kind of a character you're planning on playing.

Also, a brief paragraph about your character backround. I may ask you to change something for plot reasons, but nothing big. Please PM me, and I will make a final list. Also in your PM include the days and times you are available, and WHAT TIME ZONE you live in.

Note: We will NOT be starting this Saturday, as Grandma Chewbacca is turning 95 this weekend and I'll be going to see her. Hopefully we will start the 23rd, unless I get enough people wanting another day to decide otherwise.

So my cleric gets access/bonuses to spells from any 2 domains associated with his deity. It's been tough picking, but I've narrowed it down to Water, Knowledge, and Protection. I'll probably ditch Water, but maybe not; I've always liked Water magic . . . :hmm:

Got everything sent, now to sit and wait.

Okay, NAH and some others are pushing me to join. I don't plan to read the whole thread though, so I'm just going to ask things again that were probably already mentioned. Hope you don't mind.

I've read somewhere at the beginning of the thread that the rules are 3.5. Is this still true? I've played under these rules before, and I recently started again, so that wouldn't be a problem for me. I also have this handy book (PHB).
Have you settled on a time yet? I'm in Europe, so "not too late" would be a good thing. Sundays, right? Or is it Saturdays? Either way, I'm off the next day, so I can go on somewhat into the night, as long as it's not till 6 am or something.
What's the setting? Is it just standard d&d (meaning, mostly, standard races and classes), or something special?
Equipment. Always a good question. Though the answer is usually "look it up", there is, of course, always a chance the DM wants to do something special with it. For example, I played in a campaign with very little magic once, and in another, I wasn't allowed as much total worth as is standard, due to the other players having not as much as would have been normal, either. So how much to spend, and again, any specialities?

Please, PM me with your character concept/sheet and stats, and I'll take a look. Its standard D&D setting, standard equipment. If you have something a bit unusual, I'll probably allow it if you can think of a good explanation for it. No starting magic unless you have a VERY good reason.

I'm still waiting to get completed character sheets/backrounds and time suggestions from Chris, Dread, and Kodiak.

Also, I now have something of a girlfriend, and I'm going to be visiting her this weekend. So, this works out good for those of you who still need to get me your finished character sheets, because you have another week.
