    A former coworker gave me the one I have. He bought it, never fired it (I had to clean no telling how many decades worth of cosmoline out of that rifle) and gave it to me because he'd "heard I was a gun guy". :lol:

    Yeah. Last time I checked locally, they were $99. An SKS was $140. I remember when they were $65 and $99 respectively. I didn't want either of them then. :P

    I have an 1891 made in 1917 that has never been fired. It never shipped to Russia because of the Revolution.

    Ironically, the bolt catch doesn't work right - cycle the bolt and go back all the way, and that bolt will go straight out!

    It's nothing special.

    While I was out making sales calls the other day, I found a gun shop in a strip mall run by a nice Thai family. They sorely tempted me. They had the Taurus I'd been looking for at a price I was willing to pay, only they had the stainless one instead of the blued one.

    They also had a Commander-style 1911 for around $650. I've sort've been leaning towards a full-sized 1911, but that one was mighty nice.
