That was the meeting where the RL person behind the KIRK1ADM persona showed up. We had a great time, but didn't think to take any photos. The next day Enterpriser and JohnM accused us of faking the meeting.

I am not sure what Dayton has done in the past over there to get a permaban. It is their business on who they have and allow back. Dayton has a rather notorious reputation over all around these boards and that is his fault. However, I do see him maintaining himself on another board that does moderate pretty heavily against blatant personal attacks. He may not be thrilling people with the likes over there, but after almost ten thousand posts he has participated in some highly volatile topics such as abortion without getting a big old boot. He can still say some God awful shit though, but he may have improved himself over the years to be able to play with some heavier rules than around here.

Of course this is Dayton and I recognize that sometimes some people have had too many chances and failed to be bothered with. It is not like he is a beloved person who would bring improved conversation to the site either. I can certainly understand why moderators might not even want to be bothered with something they threw away way back when and has not become anything new.

Sorry Dayton that is the best I can defend you. You do have a reputation for a reason. I am pretty sure none of the boards I have been permabanned on are up for another chance with me.

It wasn't a documentary per se. It was something filmed with a camcorder and passed off as a documentary.

There were certain rules TNZ used to have that would net you a permaban, though you'd probably only get a temp these days. One was admitting that you were posting solely to troll, and I think D's comment that he used moderators as weapons to crush others was as good an admission as any. StrifeZ got kicked for that reason, the dumbass, but looking back now he's steps above the twonks like Pubert and Feron.

Also, looking back now, we could have laughed our asses off that his "inside knowledge" on where American military tech would be and how the rest of the world would be your bitches because you'd have body armor that made your guys invulnerable to bullets or grenades and drones to take out any heavier weapons turned out to be the SF bullshit it sounded like at the time. I think him and Rumsfeld were reading the same "Future War" magazines.

Yep. He had this fixation with several of the women on TBBS, and when they visited Starscape, he tried to follow them and harass them there, which @MikeH92467 and myself put the kibosh on real fast. Unstable is the word I'd use.

The current state of trolling is pretty sad. The older trolls put in effort. Remember Joisey? Joisey was crazy as shit and crafted elaborate fantasies based on his politics. I think one was basically the original BSG but about conservatives having to flee Earth for some reason. It was stupid, but he put in some effort and it was creative. I miss the craftsmanship. These new trolls just claim Star Trek Discovery is attacking Trump and rant about the liberal run media. It's boring. It's amauter YouTube comment section shit. I want a better class of troll.
