Actually, if he or she participated in discussions, everybody would leave him/her alone. But every Thea post has either been about board drama or claiming not to be a dual. Not one word of actual discussion. That is not normally how newbies start out. However, it is SOP for duals.

If Thea wants to prove that he/she is a real poster, then he/she needs to just post and ignore the drama. It's really very simple.

Almost everyone participates in discussions sometimes. Even you, though you have turned more to trolling in the last couple of months, still participate some in discussions.

Asyncritus, my very first post was a congratulations in this very thread which I thought foolishly would be a small entrance to this board. Sort of testing the waters. Apparently the waters here are not a good place to be.

I apologize to the OP for all the BS that has gone on here. As for those that felt it necessary to attack, judge, ridicule and just be plain rude to a newcomer, well you can fill in the blank here.

This is the Red Room of Wordforge where for better or worse judgment and ridicule with a healthy dash of rude is part and parcel with the program in here. Has been from day one when the original handful who created the place to escape the power mad mods and douchbag admins previlent elsewhere on the net.
There are two rooms here that are no holds barred, the rest of them are moderated for civility and flaming and all associated schnanigans are not tolerated. Red Room and Grey Room.

There are rules even for these two rooms but like it says up there they're "Moderated lighter than the rest of the board".

We welcome new people and viewpionts but thicker skins are required for the aforementioned rooms.

Blue Room information taken anywhere else on the board could result in a permaban in some cases. Just a heads up there.

I welcomed you right off the bat in the HD and meant it. Seems to me you are pretty judgemental yourself so consider that.

Many of those posters did indeed leave butthurt but there is a real world out there and many of them went back to that.

Some were insuffering "super assholes" as you put it who got their asses handed to them and ran off.

Some are dead and gone and sorely missed. Mallory and Techman come to mind there. Jeriko had the liberals so wound up he'd ride them but he went missing a few years ago and I suspect he too has met the reaper.

If you can look past the obvious trolls and shitheads here you might well find a place to hang your hat. Try it out in the other rooms and you'll see there are many of the assholes who are intelligent and provide thought provoking commentary on a plethora of subjects.

Thea, please stay. Cuz our last new guy that stayed was a terrible disappointment. He had this dog, then he changed his name to a dog, then he changed back. All the while remaining a total asshole. The guy who brought him in even stopped posting due to embarrassment. Its one flew over the cuckoo's nest around here.

Thea, on behalf of the staff, I apologize for Tamar posting your location. It doesn't matter that it's exceptionally vague, it was a violation of trust and definitely not a good way to start a relationship.

To the rest of you, having checked IP's and all that, I don't see any damning evidence that suggests that Thea is a dual. There's no exact IP matches with any other user, nor is there any other evidence of being a dual besides the unusual behavior of having an interest in the rep system, but that wasn't even her first post. She may just be interested in dramatic things, and she wouldn't be the first, last, or only person here to be guilty of that. So how about we be a bit more welcoming, instead of having a feeding frenzy.
