Seen a trailer or headline that catches your interest for an upcoming project (or pilot)? Until it justifies it's own thread, why not post it here.

    First up, 12 Monkeys

I was looking forward to Gotham until I found out it was a Fox production.

I was looking forward to Tyrant as as well, but the reviews have been lukewarm so I haven't bothered with it.

Looking forward to "Constantine" and "The Flash". Both leaked pilots were fairly good. Also looking to see what "Gotham" can do. Mainly because of Donal Logue & Robin Lord Taylor (guy playing Cobblepot).

Also, I would normally be really interested in a 12 Monkeys TV series but it's Syfy so I predict it will suck major balls.

actually, they have some good stuff in Scify. As well as some suck, like most every other network except a very few (arguably HBO, AMC, and FX)

Continuum on SyFy is quite brilliant, actually. A complex and clever twist on time travel. Plus, ya know, Rachel Nichols.

In the recent past, Warehouse 13 and Eureka were tons of fun. I've only watched a couple episodes of Defiance so far, but I'm liking it.

It's not a Syfy-produced show. They only air it in the USA. I have a buddy that works on it. It films in Vancouver. Good show!

first episode of Outlander is free to everyone on YouTube. If you're a sucker for men in kilts or Scottish stuff in general then you are likely to be as well pleased as I was, albeit more than half of the episode is set in the 1940s. Still I'll be :pirate: this regularly.

Oh I like Continuum. Very interesting! And I love crap on Time Travel! Isn't it about a cop from like 2056 of something that goes back to the year 2014?

pilot ep of "Forever" is available on HULU

I'm a sucker for Ioan Gruffudd so this will get a good bit of rope with me. In this episode, they didn't need any.

Looks interesting...but it's on a major network. It will be either dumbed down to the level of a garden slug, turned into a soap opera mostly about him and the cop, or canceled.

Likely more than one of the above.

So, here's my premier calendar for the next five weeks or so, rated from 1 star (mildly interested) to 5 stars (will take an apocalypse to make me miss it)

    9/21 -
Madam Secretary (*) - sucker for Tia Leoni, afraid it will end up being one of those shows like "The Good Wife" that I will regret not watching from the beginning.
The Good Wife (*) - future binge watch, but worth mentioning

    9/22 -
Gotham (*****) - needs no explanation
Sleepy Hollow (****) - LOVE Tom Mison and John Noble. Hope clever writing continues
Forever (***) - see previous post
The Blacklist (***) - Have not found a place for it on my overloaded plate but me and Netflix will have to fix that

    9/23 -
Agents of SHIELD (****) - seems poised to either move to next level or become a mess
Person of Interest (*****) - tempted to award a sixth star here

    9/24 -
Nashville (****) - my one soap

    9/28 -
Once Upon a Time (**) - interest fading
Resurrection (**) - good not great, yet

    9/29 -
    Castle (****) - Duh.

    10/2 -
Gracepoint (*) - interested to see David Tenent play American

    10/7 -
The Flash (****) - comic book show after all.

    10/8 -
Arrow (****) - earned the praise

    10/12 -
The Walking Dead (****) - interested to see if they actually have a direction other than "stay alive" this year.

    10/22 -
The 100 (*) - interest all but gone

    10/24 -
Grimm (*) - too many other better choices in a week
Constantine (****) - every thing I've seen so far fascinates

    10/30 -

Elementary (*) - like Grimm, sort of crowded out

    Already in progress:
    Doctor Who (****)
    Intruders (***)
    Outlander (***)
    Z Nation (**)

Having over 10 hours a week of must-see shows is cumbersome to me but I love that there's such a great variety of excellent choices.

What does where it is produced have to do with anything? I don't care for their "animation domination" on Sundays but that doesn't mean all their shows are that stupid. After seeing the first two episodes I'd say you're missing out if you're a fan of the dark knight trilogy.

I'm not a fan of the Dark Knight Trilogy (not that I dislike them, I just prefer the more gothic take of Burton's two films). Plus I have watched Gotham, and my feelings have been justified. It's ok, but it's nothing standout. The acting is average, the music is delivered in that awful, monotonous way that so many mediocre level American shows do and the scripts are nothing to write home about. If it doesn't improve it will be cancelled within two years, if not less.

Gracepoint is an American version of a BBC limited series. David Tennant is playing the same role - American accent instead os Scot/North English accent. Heck, he even has the same scruffy beard as he did in tneBritish series. Sorry, forgot the name of the British series. And it deserves at leasr *** rating.

Transparent is indeed stunning. A little bit heavier on the Jewish family stereotypes that would be perfect, and like some other web-service series (and pay channels) they sometimes seem to be including a sex scene just because they can
