    Yes.

    True.

I'm in the ready reserves too for the next seven months.

If I have to get recalled, I rather it not be for a dick waving contest from a President who is only now realizing that Presidenting is really, really hard.

    I hope so.

Blah blah blah free speech. Get back to me when Dan Savage (for example) is ever booked to speak at (for example) Liberty University.

    the glorious effects of propaganda.

it IS true that a minority on the left seek to silence opposing views, it is however a massive myth that such is only found on the left.

Nova makes a good point. You're not going to see protests against a Dan Savage speech at Liberty University ... because he's unlikely to be invited in the first place.

Conservatives have much more practice at authoritarianism, so they can just stop things earlier.

As much as I agree with K' s sentiments...it doesn t work outside of a Hollywood film. My experience is that the Navy does what it needs to do to cover it's own ass and people who stand up to that will have their careers ruined accordingly.

If you seen anyone above the paygrade of E-7 getting in trouble, it's because someone above that captain heard wind about it.

I assume you knew that was a possibility though.

And you've got the data to prove otherwise. Post 'em.

I hope that your experience doesn't extend to the extreme cases I referred to here. I refuse to believe that the only moral difference between an American soldier and an SS officer is the orders they're given.

It's not the job of government to save horribly mismanaged radio networks.Plus you still have MSNBC along with Huffington Post and other blogs for your far left nutbag fix

I honestly don't know what that means in this case. I thought my point was as general as they come: ultimately, a soldier has to decide when orders demand they cross a line they aren't willing to cross.

From my experience that never happened. Then again I served during peace time.
