While Obama is sawing the balls off of the United States, Sarkozy is, apparently, trying to graft some back on to France.

    :itsokay:

There, there, Danny boy, some one will come along and regurgitate something more palatable to your Leftist sensibilities in no time. It's almost noon, US EDT, Dicky should be rolling out of bed any minute.

The "surrender monkey" nonsense came about only because France chose an independent course from the US rather than following orders. Freedom and democracy are apparently okay only so long as a people choose the right way.

Actually, the French have always been pretty hardassed about terrorism, having dealt with Algerian nationalists for decades. Up until 911 they had considerable harsher responses and more leeway to use force than the US did.

That's right. Jokes aren't funny if they make France cry.

It's been a day since the OP. France hasn't surrendered yet -- they might have a chance this time around!

Note who among us finds it "hilarious."

You know that annoying, over-indulged six-year-old who knows *one* joke and repeats it over and over and over and over and over because Mommy and Daddy think it's funny?

    That's what I'm hearing here.

Sorry, I wasn't around to advise them on this decision. I've been off in the woods the last 4 weeks, along with 16 patrols of scouts, pretending the world didn't exist.

But they got this one right. :techman: Vive la France !
