It's about a nerdy girl who gets a makeover from one of the more popular girls, and we find out underneath the thick smelly sweater, and greasy hair, she was really a knockout all along, and then on her sweet 16, she discovers she has powers, and that her dad was an alien, so she decides to fight crime along with her talking computer watch with a Hello Kitty face that's just enough different from the actual Hello Kitty to avoid copyright violation.

Through the course of her adventures, she acquires more powers, more friends, and learns various life lessons from a wise old hobo.

Oh, and one of her allies she meets is a crystaline strawberry scented unicorn that she rides into victory against an army of snooty people who picked on her in the first episode when she was homely.

Oh, and her mom is a functional alcoholic, but that's more of a subtle subtext, they don't really go anywhere with it plotwise.

The only flaw in the plan is that the movie is two hours. So you're going to have to drop it off on the way to work the next day. Unless... the movie comes with a little envelope and you can mail it back. Shit. That's so crazy it just might work.
