    A NEW StarTrek (2009) poster has revealed itself and NOBODY starts a thread about this? Yeah yeah, I know, everyone is salivating over TheDarkKnight, and rightfully so - it was beyond fantastic - but come on guys, are we losing sight of StarTrek here?

    Anyways, here is the composite picture of four cast members, in character.

    I was actually about to come post this :P.

    Kirk is giving me a Shinzon vibe and his hair is noticeably not shown. Maybe they replaced young Kirk with Young Picard.

    Also, I hope the guy in the upper left is Chakotay and not a Klingon.

    Spock and Uhura look great, though.

    I will reserve judgement on whether the movie sucks or not until I see it.

    However, I will make this prediction with confidence:

    It will be a box office dud.

    The Trek fan base is far too fractured and full of nitpicky geeks to make anything successful anymore.

    If you look close, his ear point was apparently ripped off and he has a scar.

    Could explain how we get around the "canon" issue of no human having seen a Romulan prior to Balance of Terror: perhaps at no point in the movie do the protagonists ever find out that what they are dealing with is, in fact, a Romulan. :shrug:
