I worked in Loudoun for more than a decade so I've been watching this one on and off.

What I read in the media initially was hugely distorted by politics on both sides as it was directly before the gubernatorial election. This event absolutely helped Youngkin win the election in Virginia.

I abhor Youngkin's stated policies on transgender care but in this particular instance it looks like the conservatives were correct. The inferences they make on it on a wider spectrum are clearly false. But this is why you don't go in for absolutes in politics if you can avoid it. Disproving your absolute is usually easy, and can have profound impacts on perception outside of the specific instance in question.

    So in this case:

The school did include the sexual assailant under their transinclusion policies, and that is very likely to have influenced how they proceeded from that point. The student identified as gender fluid, wore woman's clothing, and had access to the women's bathrooms. A teacher had seen this student in the woman's bathroom and allowed them to remain.

In fact, while the assailant was still being sought in the halls of the school for the reported assault, when the school was not put in lockdown, the Chief Operating Officer of Loudoun County Schools sent an email to staff saying this incident was related to their 8040 policy. This policy was the new transinclusion policy. This is in page 3 of the the Grand Jury report under the executive summary, and that document exists. So the very first documentation about the event that was sent to the other members of the administration was that it was a trans related issue.

The father in question tried to gain access to the school but didn't have his license on him and was denied entry, even when he called his wife who vouched that is her husband. The Loudoun officials sent out an email seeking to get a restraining order for trespassing on the father at this point in time. They sent out an email about a disturbance, but did not include the sexual assault, and this is while that student was at large with students in the school.

When apprehended, Loudoun did not refer the assailant to the police. As a matter of fact, they were allowed back in school the next day, and allowed on their computer where they deleted their discord conversations. They allowed the rapist to delete evidence.

The father showed up at the school board hearing on the transinclusion policy. Before he had an opportunity to speak a woman approached him and an argument ensued. This is on tape, though the nature of the argument is not. The father claimed that she told him that his daughter was not raped, and what's more that she would organize a boycott of his business to ruin him if he continued to claim she was. A jury did in fact find that his daughter was sexually assaulted in a method that by common parlance would be referred to as rape.

Police tried to remove the father at this point, though at most he had only raised his voice. He refused, and they tackled him, removed him by force, and he was charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction of justice. The obstruction charge was dropped, but he was found guilty of disorderly conduct. That was what Youngkin pardoned.

The publicity of the school board altercation caused several things. One, the Superintendent when directly asked about the rape by someone else denied any had occurred. Several school administration officials stated that was a lie at the hearing. He was fired, and is facing charges himself for misconduct.

Two, this publicity caused the school to refer the student assailant to the police. There they were charged with sexual assault and found guilty.

The conservatives say that the school boards actions led directly to the 2nd rape. This is untrue. However, and this is a big however, if it weren't for the publicity surrounding the hearing it seems very probable that the student under the transinclusion policy would not have been referred to the police for prosecution. This only happened after people starting asking questions after the hearing.

Again, they didn't notify anyone in the community of the assault when it happened, despite that being a requirement under their sexual assault policies. You can do so without naming any of the individuals involved.

In this case, after being found guilty the system completely failed, as the student was sent to another school on an ankle bracelet, and despite the nature of their crimes being known at the highest level and the student conducting other highly inappropriate behavior they were allowed to freely interact and abducted another girl and raped her in a girl's bathroom.

Each side did extremely questionable things based on their preconceived notions and politics. But in this particular case, it is very much more on the officials responsible for this who were democrats Their inaction put students in danger, they lied and attempted to cover that up, and then the system completely failed when it did proceed as intended.

So pretty much a cluster fuck all around.

    The Grand Jury report: https://www.loudoun.gov/SpecialGrandJury

Video of the father in question being taken into custody at the hearing. You can see him arguing with the woman who approached him at the beginning.

The school let a supposed transgender "girl" use the girl's bathroom, the "girl" raped another girl and the district superintendent tried to sweep it under the rug, but the victim's father made a big enough of a stink about it that it made national news. Then the father was arrested at a school board meeting for speaking up about it, which prompted Merick Garland to send an internal FBI memo to send FBI agents to school board meetings and arrest parents who dared to question pandemic procedures. But Joe Biden's not a fascist, no siree and shit like this never happens, I'm told.

@Demiurge feels that trans people are all rapists and is trying to pretend that because one person who molested people while wearing a skirt and having a penis, all trans people are rapists and therefor pardoning a violent white wing terrorist who attacked police while he was trying to riot at a school board meeting because his daughter was the one molested was the right thing to do.

Or in other words @Demiurge wants to pretend his hatred towards trans people is justified so he can go back to staring at teen girls in bathing suits without worrying if he was gay for looking at a trans girl.

When you are on the side of the boy you really want to check yourself.

The guy was convicted of assault when he attacked cops who were trying to keep him from attacking the school board. That is what he was pardoned for. Had he been black dumi and the boy would have been cheering when the cops killed him. but he was white and conservative so he was a hero for assaulting police.

Yes you. The man assaulted the police which is what he was on trial and being convicted on. He was trying to attack the school board.

Let us go down to the lie that any of you actually care about the safety of young girls in school. Every day, and every minute of the day girls are assaulted at schools across america by young cishet men. We care so little about these assaults we elect these men to POTUS and congress. Assaulting women in school doesn't prevent you from being on SCOTUS. No one is trying to stop sports teams, the clergy, or school teachers from, being in school, but one kid being gender fluid assaulting a girl and you all want to kill all trans kids and make this violent guy who attacked cops and a school board your hero.

OK, I am all for the truth.

Let me just say I have been the person next to girls sending cishet rapey guys like @Demiurge and @Steal Your Face away. I have had to go to girlfriend's homes to remove people like FF when they assault them and break their things in a drunken or sober rage. @Steal Your Face who is an admitted abuser of women is now trying to distract from his own admitted crimes and pretend someone else is the problem.

@Steal Your Face belongs on megans list

@Demiurge should be removed from any school he is using to jerk off to school sporting events.

Stop trying to distract from your own perversion by pointing to someone else. You are the problem parents are looking for.

Just for a little bit of clarity on this.

    1. Genderfluid is not trans. Genderfluid is more like genderbending with a new term. It is more akin to crossdressing and drag than being the other gender. So genderfluid people should not be in the opposite gender's bathroom. Sorry to the trans community, but you need to have some sort of longterm commitment to be entering into the restroom of the gender you were not assigned at birth. You do not just wear a skirt and get access to the ladies room. That is ill advised and would be abused by cis boys.

    2. The boy who assaulted the girl is not trans. It is a cisgendered boy who felt that wearing a skirt and calling himself gender fluid would gain him access to the ladies room. That is the plan of a cisgendered and heterosexual young pervert. This is not trans. This is something cis people do. This person is as cis as any republican male. The attempt to associate him with the trans community is an attempt to pretend they are not the ones fantasizing about dressing in drag to gain access to the fantasy world of boobies and pussies. The real ladies room is not this sexual paradise it is in republican male brains. It is a place to piss and shit and only a scat crazed fuckwit would think anyone else would want to bang in it. Trans people do not want to bang in the bathroom. That is purely a fetish of mainly cis republican christian repressed assholes.

    3. On occasion people will be assaulted in a restroom by people who are properly in that restroom. It could be a gay guy in the men's room, a lesbian in the ladies room, or maybe even a trans person in that gender's restroom. It is a crime, that person needs to go to jail, but we do not stop all women and lesbians from going into the restroom because one might have assaulted a woman in one. That is stupid, and being stupid it is the opinion of stupid people.

    4. assaulting police and rioting at school board meetings should not be legal because you are a republican.

A student under the transgender inclusion policy raped a girl in a women's bathroom, the school realized it was a transgender issue immediately, but they then did not bring forward charges against the rapist until a father went to a school board meeting and was arrested after a women there told him his daughter wasn't raped and he yelled at her. Cops tackled him and drug him off.

That led to the rapist being charged, convicted, but then they were sent to another school where despite several warning signs including complaints by students raped another girl in a girl's bathroom.

Transrights activists continue to say such things never happen, which is a lie, whereas far right nutjobs say it happens all the time, which is also a lie.

A Republican won the Virginia gubernatorial election and quite a bit of it had to do with this, because the Democratic school board did appear to attempt to cover up the crime. And they were clearly full of shit. The Superintendent was fired and now faces criminal charges for the coverup.

Again, this is not a trans person, this is a cis person who was lying about being trans and allowed in the girls room without actually undergoing the trans lifestyle.

Only cis liars think wearing a skirt makes you trans. If a cis boy wears a skirt one day, declares himself trans, and then wants in the ladies room you say no because that is a lying cis pervert looking to peep at women.

No trrans people in their right mind would call that person trans.

However, schools always try to cover up rape and molestation by cis people because it is a bad image for the school. This is normal whenever a cis boy or adult rapes or molests someone for the school to try and go after the victim to silence them.

The liars who want to protect cis people who ttry and peep are trying to prewtend this is only a trans issue while they seek to distract from their own behavior.

You are not just a bigot, you are one of the people who has molested and abused girls and are trying to distract from your own perverse history of sexual and physical abuse. You have admitted it here multiple times, and we know who you are. Now stay out of the ladies room at subway. even if you did really try to clean them whenever a female customer was using them it is a subway restroom and will never be clean.

    let me mention another reality.

The father who's daughter was molested would have sided with the school and told his own daughter to STFU and not damage the school had the boy who raped her been a coach, football player, or member of the clergy. This is the way most parents do things when the sports guys or religious people assault their children.

The only reason he is mad is because a guy who wore a skirt did it. That man would have given his daughter to the sports team, coaches, or the church because that is what conservatives think daughters are for.

This person was definitely not cis, as that's a term for someone whose gender identity matches their sex at birth. If you are gender fluid, by definition you are not cis. That's why gender fluid people receive protections in most LGBTQ supportive policies.

So this was most definitely not a cis het male.

From Harvard Health: Some people describe themselves as “gender-fluid.” As an identity, it typically fits under the transgender and nonbinary umbrella, which applies to people whose gender identity doesn’t match the sex assigned to them on their original birth certificate. (Nonbinary means a person’s gender identity doesn’t fit into strict cultural categories of female or male.)

    https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog...t-means-and-why-support-matters-2020120321544

You can argue no true scottsman all you like. There are absolutely medical professionals from the most reputable education centers that would call this person trans.

But hey, if they commit a crime, they can't be trans, because no trans people commit crimes according to you. It's a tautology and it expressly loses confidence of any person that understands that sexual identity has absolutely nothing to do with criminality. People are people, no matter their identity, and some are absolutely wonderful, and some are absolutely vile. Every human has a chance to express those attributes.

And while I almost never read Tererun's posts, I looked at this one, it is absolute vile and worthy of derision.

No, you can't say that this man would have been OK with the rape of his daughter if it was done by a non-trans person. The fact your mind even goes there is reprehensible.

Indeed, this father was denied access to his daughter at the school after being told she was raped but refused to be allowed to see her, and the police were called on him at that time. He was not aware of the assailant at the time. He was upset that his daughter was raped and he couldn't see her.

The school did not mention the rape in any external communication while the rapist was running free for 3 hours in the school. Students were in the school during this period. No lock down was issued.

The school did send out an email saying that anyone who heard the man get upset and yell about being denied access to his daughter after she was raped could get counseling.

Counseling was not offered to the actual girl who was raped.

Nor was the rapist referred to the police for charges until after the 2nd incident that the father was arrested, this time for defending his wife from a woman that told them that their daughter was not raped, when she was. According to him, woman accosting them then went on to say that she would ruin his livelihood on social media if he continued to claim his daughter was raped. If true this is monstrous, and directly related to her toxic activism.

The rapist was then charged, but allowed to remain at a second school, where he then raped another girl, despite multiple complaints about the previously arrested sexual assailant.

So I won't be as obtuse and repugnant as to say that special treatment is given to LGBTQ in all cases where they commit rape, but it's pretty clear that the school administration did not want this to be publicly known, fought to the point of witness tampering from the details to come out, and were concerned with the upcoming vote on transinclusion when they made these decisions in this particular case.

Indeed, the grand jury that convened explicitly stated that it if it was within their power to do so they would have referred the lawyers for the school district for the crime of witness tampering, as they repeatedly tried to cover up the incident during the investigation.

This is why some women state that transinclusion can hurt women's rights. This rape victim definitely was hurt by the politics the school administration engaged in, as was her father who had the police called on him twice by the school administration because he was concerned that he was refused access to his daughter and that the rapist was not charged. Both of these facts are beyond doubt at the time the police were called on him.

The school administration said they could take no action due to Title IX restrictions until the police report was in, and it was months before the rape kit was processed. They went further and stated they could take no action about an 'alleged' rape even to the point of conducting an internal investigation.

The problem is, there is no such provision in Title IX. Indeed, Title IX demands an immediate investigation and remediation of any dangers. There's also a law that requires a threat assessment, which also was not conducted.

And this in context of the School Administration holding a meeting to see how this impacted Policy 8040 (the upcoming transinclusion policy) while the assailant was still running loose in their school for 3 hours. They then tried to withhold the memo that asked for the meeting in that context from the Grand Jury investigation when it was subpeonaed. And when it finally came to light every member that attended (and they had the log of the people who signed in) stated they had no memory of the meeting. The Grand Jury did not believe this.

According to the mother of the assailant he is still attending public school, though it was not stated as to whether that was still in Loudoun.

Like I said, this is incredibly fucked up, and it does appear that the impact of how it would be perceived while they were trying to pass the transinclusion rights policy was more important than ensuring transparency and ultimately even the well being of their female students. Even after this rapist was caught, tried, and convicted, multiple reports of threatening behavior at the new school were ignored, and they raped again.

Fucked up, yes. But not basis for condemning an entire class of individuals, including cross dressers.

If they had covered it up of course they would have heard about it. But I forgot, you hate everything to do with sports. :)

And I'm not condemning an entire group here. Simply stating that in this particular case what we heard in the media got almost all of the particulars wrong, and the school administration was involved in repressing info and not protecting their female students for what is almost certainly political expediency.

Just like it's politically expedient to claim that there are no attacks by LGBTQ in bathrooms. There are. But they aren't prevalent, and if the data continues to hold not a reason to deny people access to the bathroom that matches their gender identity.

gender fluid is not trans. You would know this if you were intellectually honest. This is not a person who is on the path to change genders., You are trying very hard to say he is, but he is not. Of course this person should not have been allowed to use the girls bathroom just because he said so. That is not and should not be a thing. If it is then the school does need to get the proper profesionals running it and not some idiots who do not know what the fuck they are doing.

Still, this sort of thing happens every single fucking day with cis boys attacking girls and we do not take the girls and put them in a seperate school because some boys cannot control themselves. Even if the attacker was a trans person, they still attacked another person and that is a completely different action entirely. We don't arrest everyone who owns a gun because one person shot up a mall with a gun. You are desperately trying to make an issue up where there is a real problem with girls being assaulted and the school responds by trying to suppress it. That is not a trans thing, that is a regular happening in schools.

You are really trying to focus attention on an insignificant part of the problem of schools covering up rape and molestation by students. That is a thing, and it is not a trans issue at all despite the real fact that there may be some occasional trans or gender queer person who does what the cis children do.

You are trying to amplify one incident to indicate a system wide problem that is not happening. You are being quite dishonest in your intentions. You are lying. You may not even be aware of the fact you are doing it.

However, this is a huge problem with cis boys and men. Yes, the school covers it up. They are just reacting how they normally do to a rape or molestation. The fact that finally you are all bothered by it just shows that you only pay attention when you want to think a trans kid is doing it. We do not see you bringing up local stories of child molestation that happens in scvhools all across the nation. All of a sudden it is a problem when the guy in a skirt does it, and that is why you are sick. All the rest of the time you just overlook it like it is business as usual. That is being complicit.

What's "fluid" is the position some of you take on the subject of collective guilt. ALL cops. ALL gun owners. ALL hwite people. But THIS person is an individual, and nobody else has any uncomfortable questions to answer.

Exactly. I'm not sure how far the gun metaphor travels though. Castration seems the closest to gun control I can think of.

That is a stupid point of view because we can see certain tendencies within groups to be more likely to do certain things. For instance there is a much larger tendency within religious authorities to molest. There are multiple reasons for that. There is a certain tendency for angry confrontations to become fatal when you include a gun for obvious reasons. It is not that all gun owners are bad, it is because humans are more likely to kill someone when angry and they have a easy and quick tool to react with. When they do not have that tool available their violent reactions are less damaging because it takes much more effort. This is why gun scarcity lowers fatalities.

You are a simpleton and you cannot think very far beyond your nose. This is why you should STFU and listen to the big brains and stop trying to parrot stuff you heard somewhere that sounds intelligent. You are not good at thinking things through.
