Why the hell am I seeing threads and posts from ignored members on the main page?

Here's a suggestion @We Are Canadian: use the new posts link rather than the small list on the right side of the landing page. If chup is really so obnoxious that you want nothing to do with any thread he starts (even though you still won't see his content), then you have special needs.

Seriosuly, I don't get why people come to Wordforge and then put some posters on ignore anyway, but I doubly don't get why you'd put @El Chup on ignore. If he goes beyond your standards, surely three quarters of the board do? Isn't it boring with such a small subset of posts?

Don't know if that's the answer, but WAB has certainly been following the Faceman playbook of late:

But I don't think Faceman stoops to the the whole, "I have my hands over my ears so I can't hear you, naner naner naner," bit.

The grudge came out of nowhere and I never understood it. What I do know, however, is that he has been abusing my personal info over PM for years, so there is the possibility that this is some sort of grand deflection attempt. Frankly I think it's all a bit sad.

I don't know at what point I actually stepped through the looking glass, but when folks on this board seem to think garamet, El Chup and Demiurge are rational posters with something to contribute I have to question the sanity of the ownership and members.

El Chup and Demiurge are fucking nuts, pure and simple. They are actually more damaging to the health of the board than guys like John Castle, because at least John Castle doesn't hide his insanity. El Chup and Demiurge can appear to be good posters for a while until they have some kind of bipolar psychotic break, which they've both had on at least two occasions. I actually put El Chup on ignore for my own protection because he began these ludicrous claims of me stalking him by PM, which is complete horseshit. He actually initiated the PMs and I sent him one reply using his first name (which has been posted on WF before) asking him to stop, at which point he went absolutely batshit crazy on me. Staff with access to PMs can check the veracity of this story.

Anyway... I'm probably digging a hole for myself in some folks' eyes, so I'll just shut the hell up. But I can't reconcile how a board that once pretty much universally reviled nutcases like El Chup and Demiurge suddenly seems to embrace them. Has Wordforge become that desperate?

Which if course is why WAB has been carrying on his vendetta well before any PMs. What he fails to point out is that the PM I sent was to ask him what his big grudge was! Can't send a PM like that if the grudge hadn't already be pursued!

Still, nice to be a bona fide threat to the board!

Yes, break downs, a real good reason to wonder why anyone would think that person could ever be accepted into polite society - or at least wordforge society - again.

The ignore feature definitely has problems. I was made aware the other day that a member who I have not talked to in years regularly brings me up in threads.

(A) What does that have to do with the ignore feature (except your inability to resist peeking)?
(B) Shouldn't you, like Sokar, feel as if you've "won"?
