Just a piece of advice, connect the dots for the simpletons. That is called indoctrination. There is a disconnect between what they are doing and their supposed heroic ideology. All of those things you mentioned are actual indoctrination. I am directing this at you personally because you seem to want to have a conversation with these people to try and debate the issue. you have to make those connections for them in order to disrupt their logic if you are going to make a dent. At the very least you might help an audience member to see the connection if you do noit get through to the person you are talking to. Stopping short of the point like that bounces off the ignorant armor they have established.
This is true. For all their lies about wanting freedom and liberals are trying to run everyone’s lives, they are the ones trying to force all to live in a specific way.
Used to be there was opposition to using schools as conformity factories. Now the fight is over who gets to decide the programming.
It takes some pretty major contortionism to turn "people are different and that's OK" into "mandating conformity." Although from the same people who love to push "if you don't like intolerance, that means you're intolerant, stop persecuting meeeeeeee" and similar bits of sophistry, I guess it's not surprising.
I would agree. Having know a fair share of educators I honestly believe they are striving to educate, enlighten, and develop children into considerate and respectful adults. If that mold has a “liberal bias” then so be it. My concern is with the vocal minority of parents who would be better suited homeschooling. Their constant grievances and litigation have found a home with this Supreme Court. Is it really worth it to turn public education into a Christians only safe space?
More like "people are different and you have a binding moral obligation to actively placate and validate them in exactly the way they demand. " That's well beyond any reasonable interpretation of the "golden rule."
Why does "don't be an asshole" equate to "a binding moral obligation to actively placate and validate"? Because. ... it seems to me, the only people who think that are those who don't have children in school and are just looking for something to bitch about because they can't be an asshole. Absolutely no one is making that correlation except angry you tubers who get paid to make people angry about absolutely nothing.
If "don't be an asshole" were always constrainted by reasonable terms, I would agree, but it isn't. Someone will always demand you service their entitlement and narcissism.
You don't have to. That's the point. They're teaching kids to not be little assholes. I don't know why that is an issue.
Because you're ignoring the subjective nature of "not being assholes." If not everyone agrees on the terms, who gets the final say and what do you do with the dissenters?
When the programming is these people are evil because some dudes a thousand years ago wrote a book we all conform to, perhaps we can go with the programming of it is ok, let them be because it does not harm anyone and makes them feel better. But perhaps you have an investment in hating people who do not conform to your preferred bedtime story.
Again, it is extremely strange to me that you would see someone with such a disgusting twisted justification of hate and then think I wanna suck his semen sack dry in a brokedick jeep. My reaction would be to resist the urge to burn it with fire, but you want to suck it off and that is very strange to me. Again, does he have money or perhaps glorious chocolate cum? Or is it some sort of vampire thing where his semen is your personal heroin and you are a sick twisted edward to his demented bella? Yeah, I am never going to be able to reconcile this conflict. You are like Bill Maher.
Same thing you do every day. Don't be an asshole. If someone wants to be an asshole to you, then respond accordingly. People all over the spectrum can be assholes. You can choose not to be one of them.
You are still missing the point. My idea of "live and let live" doesn't go far enough for some people.
That's exactly what would happen if this bill passes. Teachers will continue to tell little girls to sit still and act like a fucking lady and I will have to punch a bitch in the face.
and they shouldn't. It's none of the teacher's business what is in my pants. Just teach the lessons. Speak to me with the same respect you show all other students. That's all they have to do.
"Just teach the lessons " is the basic premise of this bill. Check the fucking gender politics at the door and do your damned job.
You don't let us live and let live, you're here every goddamned day flapping your head like a Pac-Man with a broken hinge.
You're an asshole. It's not subjective. Everyone who isn't Jenee finds you a pain in the ass and the ears.
Teachers have only recently stopped being assholes to gay and trans - even just non-binary kids. This bill is to stop teachers from doing that. Why do you want teachers to be assholes?
I emphatically want the opposite, and that means no woke scolding, "learn my pronouns" bullshit on the taxpayer's dime.
