Moon Knight is getting review bombed on IMDB. Most of the reviews are from Turkish people. Why? It mentioned the Armenian Genocide.
Watched Moon Knight. All of the action scenes he blacks out of, I doubt it will remain this way. I really liked Ethan Hawke.
Third episode in, and I am struggling to care about it at all. I'm going to finish it because I am a masochistic media-completionist. But if something doesn't change, this is going to wind up being my least favorite Marvel offering yet.
Ethan Hawke seems wasted on this show. Other than that it's forgettable background noise while I do something else.
Just finished Moon Knight. It was okay. I wouldn't have watched this in theaters, but I think it was worth it to watch on D+. He kind of comes across as a magical version of Batman. How they're going to incorporate him into the larger MCU, I have no idea. I'd say C+.
It strays too far from the original comics. I’ve noticed this a lot with more recent Marvel projects - they think they can tell a better story than the comics did and they’re wrong.
Finished Moon Knight yesterday. It’s pretty good, but it really veers away from the comics quite a bit.
Marvel is developing a Wonder Man series. No word on casting, but IMHO, it should be Nathon Fillion. WM's day job is actor, and he's basically the Tom Cruse of the Marvel world, and one of the MCU movies had Fillion as Simon Williams on a movie poster in the background, but the scene got cut. Deleted scenes aren't canon, so they could go another way, but...come on. https://www.darkhorizons.com/marvel-develops-wonder-man-series/
Sadly, yes. The window for Fillion to be a superhero lead has closed. I think he would've been good in the Maxwell Lord role in Wonder Woman 1984.
