That you actually took the time to catalog, archive, and repost the chat speaks volumes. Its a good thing you're taking the next game off, I think you get obsessed.
mirc = autologging. So if by "the time" you mean opening the log, copying the last chunk, and posting it, then yes, that's 20 seconds of my life that I am never getting back.
Bailey sweetheart. You scanned my planets over and over again. Bumped my ship for fun. Then when I ask you of the situation you LIE and tell me you where just playing around. THEN go back and take those planets from me!!! and to top it all off you send me a message telling me to give you all my hard earned money. AFTER all of that I sent you a message to go fuck yourself. With good reason Trust my you earned it. I only sent that one cross meassge AFTER you attacked me. And you had no reason. I waged war on no one in the game. In fact I have no clue about any of that shit, i just mind my own buisness. So yes. You deserved that message.
Who for next came wants to create a Big Lebowski theme? If we do I call Walter Sobchak. Who's the dude, and who's the big lebowski?
I was thinking of a Spaceballs theme, but then I found out there's a character limit for planet names, so no "Spaceballs the Planet".
so, anyone up for the Dude? or Donny? or Jeffrey Lebowski? or Maude Lebowski? Or Bunny Lebowski? Or Jesus? Smokey? Nihilist?
I was just looking in the wf chat window and noticed Chewie had been wondering how I could SOFA a planets defences away quickly. Here's a quick tutorial: 1) - SOFA the planet you want to attack. Once you are at the SOFA results screen, open a new tab to the main menu. 2) - Make a move (warp or realspace) to a special port in the newest tab. Once you are at the move results screen open a new tab to the main menu. 3) - Purchase a full load of fighters in the newest tab. Once you are at the trade results screen open a new tab to the main menu. 4) - In the newest tab, make a move (warp or realspace) back to the planet you are attacking. You will now have four tabs open, each representing one of the four actions that are part of a SOFA cycle. Because of the way the game works refreshing one of the results screens will resend the commands from you that generated it. So by cycling through the tabs, refreshing each one in sequence, you can complete a full attack cycle in a few seconds. When I use it I end up averaging around 11-12 SOFA runs a minute. edit: Timmy is a clever person and just pointed out in chat that you can actually accomplish this with three tabs if you can create a planet in the same sector as the planet you are attacking. If you can create a planet, then you can create a one way fighter trade route from that planet to a special port that will combine the move + port trade into one tab refresh. Almost always however a planet strong enough to need repeated SOFAs will be in a sector owned by your enemy.
Thanks to the discovery of some long abandoned Janeway worlds there's now close to 60 trillion sitting in the Bank of Palpatine for anyone who wants to take a chance against the planet.
I'm off to go kamikaze a planet so my worlds will be ripe for the plucking but before I do I wanted to post the final population number for the Chiss Ascendancy, a brave people which greet the end of the universe at their peak: 724,917,523,432
Impressive. Though, I had less than 5% of your population and still managed to beat you. At least, I think I did...
And to think, I had a much bigger empire than Thrawn, methinks...but will wait to see if any final stats are posted...
I won't be in the next game. I've got two days back before I'm away for over a week with no internet whatsoever. I was on the ferry yesterday so couldn't be there when the universe ended, did anyone take sector 1560? I used as much net time as I could at the conference bumping the defences.
A week out isnt actualy that bad, as long as you dont get attacked in that time. I took a week out of this game and still managed to get 13 trillion cash and 135 planets together, all gone now though
Yeah, but with less than two days to actually get established, I'd be well behind the crowd by the time I get back from my trip (9 days). Hell, even starting the game early evening US time means all the players in the UK are lagging behind a bit.
Well here's how you catch up. Make your account, but don't play. Go away for a week, get a bunch of turns. Use up some turns, have an ally give you money after 1000 turns. Use your remaining 1500 turns to establish your empire.
