I like Nick. I would like to meet Nick. We talk quite often in private. I consider him to be a friend.

He's just a guy who's made some mistakes and frankly, the stupid things he's done has been blown to mythic proportions. People have posted worse porn than him, people have said worse things and honestly, there are men here who have been far, far creepier with some of us women than Ted.

He does try too hard sometimes...but when people hound you constantly and you're not exactly the social butterfly to begin with, it isn't that surprising and the fact is with some people it won't matter what he does...they just want to be jackasses.

Hey, it's their right but some of the claims of his "creepiness" and "how afraid they are" is so silly and overblown it is ludicrous. And some of it has grown into exaggerated half-truths and outright lies about what he has and hasn't done.

It doesn't really matter anyway...people will say what they want, but he is still a human being and is more than his mistakes. That's all.

I don't know about all that. I try to give him the benefit of the doubt. But just about everything he says has "wierd" written all over it and I can't put my finger on exactly why. I suspect that it's because it all comes across as a made up persona.

Naw, I think Tex's thread about TKo/Volpone and anything to do with Cheekymonkey will blow this featherweight out the water.
