Oh come on Mewa. Didn't I say before in this thread that I don't have a problem with people showing up hungover to work on Monday? Seriously.
No I'm afraid that you have your racial slurs confused. Oreos are reserved for blacks who speak proper english and are educated. Blacks was the answer... For someone of the Native American people, the correct slur is apples.... Apple. You see, red on the outside, white on the inside.
The late, great Notorious B.I.G. once said: Hanging with the n***as don't pay the bills, and being broke at 30 give a n***a the chills.
I see this a lot in jail. It really opens your eyes up because let's face it as a white middle-class cracker, that means me , you don't really understand it until it's in your face. On a daily basis. I used to wonder why people in bad areas would waste money. Especially on their cars. I looked at it as the ultimate in stupidity because all that money could go to more important things. Then another officer told me he asked the same question to someone in jail and the inmate told him that they spend all their money because they don't know if they are going to be alive or dead tomorrow so why not have a party today. Puts a new spin on things when you hear that.
You are in the early days of starting your own business and buying a house? Eek. You better be really, really sure before committing to a house that you will be able to make payments, afford taxes, upkeep and have money for emergencies and repairs. Otherwise you are heading for financial disaster.
Volpone's business targets gay bikers and he considers all purchasers of the product he distributes to be his "friends."
Using a word doesn't make someone racist....how they treat and regard other races do. Using that word makes him offensive not really racist. Unless you are finally admitting you are a racist for calling Anna an Oreo.
The business is OK. It's bootstrapped with minimal costs. I do have to get off my ass and finish the financials on the business plan, so I know when it is time to pull the plug or when I'm making money, and the house will work out. I won't be making any payments after the first, big one.
